Syrians at our Southern Border

Why bother going out of the way to bring the Syrian refugees here?  They're already making their way here via our porous southern border.  We hear Trump go on and on about how lax the security is at our southern border and although I don't always agree with his bombastic attitude he is definitely right on this one.  It's no secret that we basically do not have a border between us and Mexico and Mexico with do nothing to stop illegal immigrants from using their country as a transportation hub to get to America.

According to a recent post on Brietbart,

Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents.

The sources claimed that eight Syrians were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015. According to the sources, the Syrians were in two separate “family units” and were apprehended at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1.

Of course they were apprehended in two separate “family units”!  They had to be apprehended in such a manner as to continue to tug on the heartstrings of Americans that individuals crossing our southern border are just women and children looking for a better life.  How dare we even consider restricting not letting this poor huddled masses yearning to be free into our great nation.  This is the card liberals play on conservatives who actually stand for the rule of law and realize the possible threat that unfettered immigration into this country poses to every single American citizen.  Couple that with the threat faced with ISIS and the importance of screening every single individual that enters this country is compounded tenfold.

As if this more recent incident isn’t enough rewind back to September and Brietbart reported on another incident regarding Syrian migrants attempting to cross the southern border.

According to Brietbart back in September,

Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested 27-year-old Walaa Alrehawi and her brother-in-law 46-year-old Mohammad Ziad Alzalam last week in the border city of Hidalgo.

On Monday, the two went before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos, who read them their rights and ordered they be held without bond pending a detention hearing later this week.
Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed that Ziad travelled to Beirut, Lebanon, to pick up Alrehawi who has been identified as his sister-in-law. She allegedly used the passport belonging to Ziad’s wife to fly to Frankfurt, Germany. From there, the two flew to the Mexican resort town of Cancun. The duo eventually made their way to the Mexican city of Reynosa and subsequently tried to enter the United States through Hidalgo.

In this incident we see two individuals who attempt to use fake passports to gain entrance into the United States.  This is the same type of scenario that played out in Paris when the islamists, one of which was tied to the Syrian refugee population, who allegedly arrived in France using a fake passport.

I know many are running around crying about how ignorant it is for us to turn away anyone who may want to come here.  There are a few things that one must take into consideration though before rushing to such judgement.  Given the aforementioned events that have unfolded not only in Paris but with regards to Syrians attempting to enter the United States illegally, it is essential we remain skeptical.  Additionally, our vetting process is under great scrutiny from all levels of government including the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies. Lastly, do we really have the resources at this point to take care of upwards of 80,000 more people in this country?  We cannot even take care of our veterans and we want to import more people who will inevitably be a burden to the already overloaded welfare system.

Syrian Refugees

There will always be people attempting to come to this country and part of the reason is because we do have values we refer to as American values and a rule of law unlike many other countries around the world. Just look at what is going on in Europe, they have succumb to political correctness and acceptance of everyone and they are simply becoming one giant landmass. Different countries used to have varying cultures and values, yet with the rampant catering to Islamic beliefs to avoid offending them many countries are losing their identity. Just look at the no go zones found found throughout Europe.

According to National Review Online,

On January 11, Emerson said they “exist throughout Europe. . . . They’re places where the governments — like France, Britain, Sweden, Germany — don’t exercise any sovereignty. . . . You basically have zones where sharia courts were set up, where Muslim density is very intense, where the police don’t go in, and where it’s basically a separate country almost, a country within a country.”

Although Emerson, whom I admire for his moral courage and investigative skills, immediately apologized for his “terrible error” of saying that cities such as Birmingham, England, “are totally Muslim where non-Muslims just simply don’t go,” he did not address the larger question of whether no-go zones, in fact, do “exist throughout Europe” and are places where governments “don’t exercise any sovereignty.”

If you ask me what is really at the heart of the matter with regards to the Syrian Refugees is the fact that many liberals hate what America stands for.  They constantly speak about “fundamental transformation” and we are finally getting a true glimpse into what that fundamental transformation includes.  Obama and his cronies are determined to put us on a level playing field with the rest of the world.  No longer is America exceptional, no longer is America the shining beacon on the hill, we are now becoming no better than the countries in Europe being overrun by radical islamic extremists.

What are refugees getting when they come here, who's paying for it?

These downtrodden refugees, you know the women and children that Obama keeps lecturing us about, even though the videos and pictures we see show predominantly men streaming across the borders into Europe, don’t really appear to be hurting all that bad.  Many have cell phones, nice clothes, and the like.

Let’s get at one of the real reasons these individuals want to come here so badly.  They know damn well what will be offered them once they arrive. Just like the illegal aliens streaming across the border know, these so called refugees know that once they get here they will be place at the front of the line before anyone else waiting for government assistance, namely the Veterans. We have thousands of Veterans waiting for care at VA hospitals, veterans waiting for all types of assistance yet we are concerning ourselves with bringing into the country upwards of 100,000 more people who will simple leech off of the system.

According to a November 17th Associated Press piece,

HOW MANY PEOPLE:
Currently 70,000 refugees from around the world are allowed to come to the United States. The U.S. will accept 85,000 people in 2016 and 100,000 in 2017. People fleeing Syria will account for much of the increase, though not all.

Although more than half of U.S. governors have objected to plans to resettle Syrian refugees in the United States, with some declaring that they won't allow resettlement in their states, the federal government controls resettlement programs. State authorities have no legal authority to bar refugees from moving to their jurisdictions.
___
HOUSING AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Upon arrival in the United States, each refugee is eligible for a $1,975 arrival and placement grant that is managed by one of nine refugee resettlement agencies working with the federal government. At least $1,125 of that grant must be spent on housing, including a bed for each person, basic furniture such as a couch, kitchen items including dishes and silverware, and weather-appropriate clothing. The remainder is used to cover additional costs for the aid agency.

Low-income refugee families with children may be eligible for temporary assistance for needy families, a welfare program in which state rules govern eligibility and the amount of money families receive, for up to five years. Immigrants without children or otherwise not eligible for the temporary assistance program qualify for the refugee cash assistance program run by the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement. Eligibility for that program lasts eight months.

HEALTH CARE:
Low-income refugees may be eligible for Medicaid for up to seven years. While immigrants to the U.S. are not generally eligible for Medicaid, refugees invited to move to the U.S. are exempt. Each state determines which refugees meet the eligibility requirements. Those who don't qualify for Medicaid can receive refugee medical assistance for up to eight months.
___
WORK:
Refugees must register with the Social Security Administration after arrival and are almost immediately eligible for a work permit. Social services, including job placement programs, are available to refugees for up to five years.
___
OTHER ASSISTANCE:
Low-income refugees may also be eligible for food-assistance programs.

Cloward Piven overwhelming the system

According to Wikipedia,

The Cloward–Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of "a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty"

The ultimate objective of this strategy—to wipe out poverty by establishing a guaranteed annual income—will be questioned by some. Because the ideal of individual social and economic mobility has deep roots, even activists seem reluctant to call for national programs to eliminate poverty by the outright redistribution of income.

"Conservative Republicans are always ready to declaim the evils of public welfare, and they would probably be the first to raise a hue and cry. But deeper and politically more telling conflicts would take place within the Democratic coalition...Whites – both working class ethnic groups and many in the middle class – would be aroused against the ghetto poor, while liberal groups, which until recently have been comforted by the notion that the poor are few... would probably support the movement. Group conflict, spelling political crisis for the local party apparatus, would thus become acute as welfare rolls mounted and the strains on local budgets became more severe.

One would literally have to be blind to not see this coming at this point.  The liberal elite are getting fed up with you and me as we wise up to what is going on and they must do whatever they can to silence us, even if it means to manufacture a crisis.  Just think of what they would do with the perfectly implemented manufactured crisis.  Not only could they take over the economy, they could implement martial law, restrict movement of people about the country, and practically run our lives on a day to day basis.

Veterans Starve While Obama Welcomes Syrian Refugees

I get it that everyone has become polarized with regards to the entire Syrian Refugee "crisis". I myself tend to jump at things like this as I always take a stern stance on many of the trending topics of the day.  While some may say others are ignorant because we don't necessarily condone throwing open the doors to ever Syrian Refugee, others say we should shut the door entirely.

I feel that we should look inwardly and say to ourselves first off we are not "racist" if we question whether or not to bring these people in given the current state of affairs in the world today.  We should question things like this, and given the governments ability to thoroughly vet incoming immigrants there is plenty of reason to be skeptical with regards to the vetting process to screen the Syrian Refugees to ensure we do not have an attack here like we witnessed in Paris.

We should also say to ourselves... Will these "refugees" be living here permanently or will they return home when the crisis ends.  A refugee by definition is someone who will eventually return to their homeland once said conflict has been resolved.  If these individuals do end up here permanently will they find work or will they just add to the roughly 93,000,000 Americans currently out of the workforce and in turn increase the burden placed on the roughly 80 means tested forms of government assistance?

We also have a true crisis within the United States with regards to the Veterans Affairs system.  We have an ever growing population of homeless veterans, veterans waiting months if not years to receive the proper medical treatment.  While this is going on we are seriously considering bringing in tens of thousands of refugees along with however many illegal aliens that continue to stream across the southern border?

So before we start fighting among ourselves calling each other racist, xenophobes, bigots, ignorant and many other names, lets look at this from a broad perspective and realize that we have more pressing issues to deal with here at home before we should even consider catering to any large group of incoming refugees.

Black Lives Matter Invades Dartmouth Library Harassing Students

As we sit here on the precipice of what some are calling the beginning of WWIII we see the pathetic pukes at #BlackLivesMatter continuing their tirade on college campuses throughout the country.  Just when you thought the entire "movement" was dying off, they sprung to life over the hunger strike carried out by Missouri student Johnathan Butler.  The most ironic part of the entire "hunger strike" incident is the fact that he comes from a more privileged family than just about anyone I know.  They rant and rave about "white privilege" yet his father made roughly $8 million last year alone.  Additionally, the alleged spark that reignited the black lives matter movement we are seeing right now was a swastika smeared on a bathroom wall made of feces which by the way should offend the Jewish people not black lives matter.

As the so called movement moves from college campus to college campus we see these THUGS (yes I called them thugs as they are emulating thug behavior) attempt to intimidate anyone who will not align with whatever it is they stand for.

A video has surfaced that shows these morons in action as they entered a library on the campus of Dartmouth University. What follows is utterly disgusting!

As posted on The Blaze,

The bi-weekly newspaper entitled the Dartmouth Review described the "protest"...

Black-clad protesters gathered in front of Dartmouth Hall, forming a crowd roughly one hundred fifty strong.  Ostensibly there to denounce the removal of shirts from a display in Collis, the Black Lives Matter collective began to sing songs and chant their eponymous catchphrase. Not content to merely demonstrate there for the night, the band descended from their high-water mark to march into Baker-Berry Library.
“F*** you, you filthy white f***s!” “F*** you and your comfort!” “F*** you, you racist s***!”
[…]
Throngs of protesters converged around fellow students who had not joined in their long march. They confronted students who bore “symbols of oppression”: “gangster hats” and Beats-brand headphones.  The flood of demonstrators self-consciously overstepped every boundary, opening the doors of study spaces with students reviewing for exams. Those who tried to close their doors were harassed further. One student abandoned the study room and ran out of the library. The protesters followed her out of the library, shouting obscenities the whole way.

Students who refused to listen to or join their outbursts were shouted down.  “Stand the f*** up!”  “You filthy racist white piece of s***!”  Men and women alike were pushed and shoved by the group.  “If we can’t have it, shut it down!” they cried.  Another woman was pinned to a wall by protesters who unleashed their insults, shouting “filthy white b****!” in her face.

After seeing the events carried out by the scum known as black lives matter one must ask, what ever happened to "safe space".  All we heard last week from the little snowflakes at Missouri was how their safe space was being invaded any time they encountered a situation in which they felt unconformable. I guess safe space is only allotted to those of a specific race.  It's truly ironic just how hypocritical these individuals are.  They stand for safe space while invading the space of others! They complain about the Constitution and how it is infringing on their rights while exercising their Constitutional right to protest.

Blackavists at Mizzou Complain Paris Attacks Takes Spotlight Off of Them

Anyone who knows the true mentality of the individuals we are dealing with at the University of Missouri knows would not be surprised by the fact that the little whiny brats are upset that the horrific attacks by ISIS in Paris have taken the spotlight off of their made up cause for protesting.

First lets get one thing straight, these individuals are protesting over a supposed swastika made of poop found in one of the campus bathrooms.  Additionally, there have been complaints of racial slurs being spoken against those of color on campus.  These claims too have been completely unsubstantiated as not one formal police report has been filed regarding any such incident. Not to mention the fact that we do still have a freedom of speech in this country therefore you may not like what people have to say, and those words may encroach on your personal space, but guess what suck it up and deal with it.  We all hear things we don't like from time to time and what do we do?  We deal with it like adults.

For most of last week we had the "luxury" of hearing these little brats in Missouri whine about their safe space being violated and they the attacks in Paris occur and we all see what is really important in the world today, stopping radical Islamic terrorism.  I'm sorry but your made up social cause at Missouri and at campuses around the country pales in comparison to what we face with ISIS.  Do you think for one second if ISIS were to come to a campus near you they would give a crap about your personal space or your right to protest for that matter?  NO!!  If they didn't agree with you they would do more than invade your personal space, they would freaking kill you!
First of all there were no black students on the campus of Missouri "trapped in their rooms" and if there actually were kids trapped in their rooms due to any type of threat, we would all be made well aware of the situation.  With social media today I'm sure there would be documented proof of the entire situation.  So until I actually see this proof I don't want to hear about kids trapped in their rooms over made up scenarios.  Grow a pair, come out of your room and if people invade your social space get over it and move on!

As part of the misguided outrage at the media's concentration on the Paris attacks the black lives matter idiots went as far as to start a Twitter hashtag entitle "#fuckParis".  While this is the case it didn't take long for those who possessed love for their common man quickly took down those who would cry about and complain that the tragedy in Paris took the spotlight from the protests in Missouri.  Protests that clearly were a result of something no one has yet been able to provide substantial proof as to why it occurred in the first place.

Islamist Sympathizers Take the Stage with #MuslimsAreNotTerrorists

One could merely bet it would only be a matter of time before individuals would come out of the woodwork to ensure that we do not blame "Muslims" for the attacks that took place in Paris.  I don't think anyone is blaming Muslims as a whole but we must confront the radical Islamist problem that is growing and growing. Even our own president cannot call ISIS Islamic and until we can attribute the radical view of Islam these terrorists posses, we will not even begin to be able to defeat them.

It only took less than 24 hours before the hashtag "MuslimsAreNotTerrorist" went trending on Twitter as people took to social media to rant about the possibility of tying Muslims to the horrid tragedy in France.
Actually the terrorists were muslim and they possessed a literal view of the Quran.  If people actually read this document they would understand what we are dealing with and how to defeat!

Someone should tell ISIS they must come together and love.  Oh wait ISIS clearly has no intentions to love anyone as they put on display yesterday evening. I agree we must call for love be we must also be able to call evil when we see it.

One can agree that various religions throughout history have done bad things.  Just as our president was so quick to speak about when he talked about the Christian crusades. The fact of the matter is that the only religion in the world today carrying out these types of attacks is ISLAM!  The quicker we can all realize that the quicker we can take a stand to stop the carnage.

I'm sick of hearing that islam is a religion of peace!!

Precisely! We must all understand the Quran if taken literally promotes sharia law and the killing of all unbelievers. Wake up people, IT IS ABOUT ISLAM!!

Actor Michael Ian Black Mocks France Shooting

It takes a special kind of low life scum to politicize something like the horrid attack we are seeing unfold right now in France.  When you want to find special low life scum you typically need to look no further than Hollywood as so many love to try and use terror attacks to play on our laws and freedoms here in America.
One freedom that lies at the heart of what makes us great is the right we have to bear arms. This right is something that we all must utilize to keep us safe.  It is quite clear that Mr. Black would love to see that right done away with.  I must ask him one question, if he advocates eliminating our second amendment right will he then do away with any type of security he may travel with?  I love seeing those who sit behind the silver curtain far away from any real danger preach to us how we are supposed to live our lives!

France Terrorist Gunmen Shouted "Allahu akbar"

Enough is enough and the time has come where we must confront ISIS before they confront us here on American soil!  Today we all witnessed a true tragedy with the attacks that have taken place throughout France.  As of now they are saying roughly 158 people have lost their lives as a result of the shootings and bombings that have occurred.  There comes a point where we must ask ourselves just how much of this are we willing to take before something has to be done.

The trouble is that we clearly cannot rely on our president to act as he can't even find it in himself to call ISIS islamic. Yet again his address in response to a tragedy that clearly appears to be a result of Islamic terrorism he goes out of his way to avoid even speculating that it may have been ISIS. The president could have addressed the reports from witnesses explaining the gunmen shouted Allahu akbar and explained that everything will be done to assist French authorities in bringing to justice whoever is responsible.

I get it that it is in the best interest of the leader of the free world to avoid speculation but there comes a time in which we must call a spade a spade and at least call out those who are responsible.  I'm through with political correctness, if the President won't call out Islamic terrorism, I will.  I hope enough people can find it in themselves to rid society of political correctness and insist that our leaders address this threat before they come for us!

We are seeing reports coming in that the gunmen shouted Allahu akbar as he picked off his victims in the theater.  I'm sorry but Mr. President these guys clearly aren't the "JV" team you named them.  These pathetic terrorists carried out a coordinated attack throughout a major European city on a Friday evening.
It's safe to say we have come to a tipping point in our battle against ISIS and Islamic terrorism.  We are approaching a time where it will be us or them and I pray that our so called "leader" wakes up and decides to take the lead and defeat ISIS before we witness any more carnage.

Tweeting the GOP Presidential Debate

How is it that anyone who is a true conservative could cheer for an individual like Paul Ryan?  From what we know Paul Ryan is a go along to get along kind of politician who will do nothing different than what we had with John Boehner.

We need politicians that will reduce the size of government and eliminate the regulations placed on small businesses. By ridding the our bloated government of over bearing regulations small businesses will have more assets to put into hiring more workers.

If we could get government out of healthcare we could leave it to localities to institute exchanges.  Get government out of healthcare and you let the free market take over which will inherently drive down costs through competition.

With quantitative easing and government manipulating interest rates we are seeing an unbalanced stock market that continues to go up and up.  Anyone with an ounce of common sense realizes that it can't continue to go up like this and eventually we will see the market correct itself.  I just hope that when it does we can recover from the possible repercussions.

We are involved in the International Monetary Fund which helps to aide in the elimination of poverty and economic cooperation around the world.  How about we stop attempting to be part of the world economic community as it continues to go to shit and concentrate on our own economic issues.

Hey Jeb it's quite obvious if we don't have growth the deficit will grow... The question is what are you going to do to help create an environment where capitalism can grow which will inevitably drive down the deficit.

Why is it that so many politicians fail to understand that the only way to truly reduce the unemployment rate is to create an environment in which small businesses can thrive by reducing govt regulations.

We see attacks left and right going after Dr. Ben Carson yet Trump gets praise and adoration from both the left and right and all aspects of media.  Ask yourself why is the media refusing to truly vet Donald Trump and ask him the tough questions!

We all know damn well if American citizens decided they weren't going to pay their taxes we would all be thrown in jail.  Don't sit here and tell me the federal government with all of the technology we have today cannot find and deport every single illegal alien in this country.  Just look at Mexico's immigration policy! They are more strict with immigration than we are while they lecture us on how we are to treat the dead beat individuals they pawn off on us!

What we are witnessing at Missouri University is a prime example of what our institutions of higher learning have become.  Kids go to college and are coddled, they are sheltered from any type of dissenting opinion to avoid being "offended".

It's about time we see possible presidential candidates speak about the free market.  We need a government that understands the free market and the significance of keeping government from intervening in it!

The liberal progressive NEVER speaks about the family as they feel it is the governments role to take care of our children and coddle them from the cradle to the grave.  When government can teach the youth to rely on them for sustenance they have complete control over the masses!

Carson Strikes Fear into the Establishment and Progressives Alike

Ask yourself, why is the media all of the sudden become so obsessed with taking down Dr. Ben Carson?  Why are they focusing all of their hatred and vitriol at man regarding things that may seem senseless with regards to becoming president?  I am by no means trying to give Carson a free pass, if he did indeed commit any sorts of lies in his past I feel he should come clean. I feel this should be the case for any individual running for public office as they all should be held to the utmost standards of accountability.  What we need to look at is why is all of the scrutiny coming down directly onto Carson like it is?  Trump and Carson are neck and neck in the poles yet Carson is the one receiving all of the negative press.

Just this past weekend we saw a hit piece put out by Politico hit piece in which they were attempting to delve into his past and the claim that he apparently fabricated a West Point Scholarship.  First of all, whether or not he fabricated a Scholarship to West Point really has no bearing on him becoming president if many in this country are considering backing a person for president who as Secretary of State let our brave men at Benghazi get slaughtered.  Nonetheless I feel that Dr. Ben Carson should come clean as to what really happened with his West Point Scholarship.
As with most stories it take a little time for the truth to come out and thanks to the plethora of news outlets we have available to us today it quickly did.  We have come to find out that Politico has rewritten several aspects of the original hit piece to as usual make the accusations somewhat vague so they don't take the fall for defaming Carson.
According to Brietbart,
The original headline reads: “Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship.”
The updated headline reads: “Exclusive: Carson claimed West Point ‘scholarship’ but never applied.”
The original lede reads: “Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated.”
The update reads: “Republican hits POLITICO story, later admits to The New York Times he wasn’t offered aid.”
As you can clearly see Politico was feeling the heat as they were stretching to dig up dirt on Dr. Carson.  What we later came to find out is that Carson was at the top of his ROTC class in high school and met with some highly regarded individuals from the service and the possibility of him being presented with the opportunity to attend West Point was put on the table. As history shows he clearly declined the opportunity to attend West Point as he had aspirations of becoming a doctor.  Thank God he did as he went on to save thousands of lives.  So the next time you see a hit piece on anyone, let alone someone with the character and accomplishments of the likes of Dr Carson you need to do your homework first.

The Problem with the "Millennial Generation"

What does the term “millennial” bring to mind? Does it make you think of an intelligent, hard working young person with deep seeded morals and values or does it bring to mind a coddled child who constantly cries and whines when they don't get their way? If you thought the first you are sorely mistaken. Many (not all) are coddled babies that have had everything handed to them throughout their entire lives creating a sense of entitlement that we are beginning to see the effects of as they are attempting to enter the workforce. Their fruitless attempts to find themselves by attending colleges that cost upwards of six figures is leaving them jobless and in debt. What do they do at that point? They look to blame someone else for their hardship. In most instances they blame the the government, adults including their own parents, and just about anyone other than themselves, the fact of the matter is that they must now find a way to make ends meet.

Inject race and class warfare into this entitlement millennial blame game and we end up with what was all witnessed in both Ferguson and Baltimore! These individuals create a so called movement around a cause that is perpetrated by the government as they inspire the youth to “rise up” for whatever it is they claim to stand for. Little do they know that all they are doing is playing right into the hands of those in power as they seek to exert more control over these mindless millennials.

We are truly at a tipping point in this country! There is a war between the so called “haves” and the “have nots”. The haves are the individuals who know what it means to work for a living and enjoy reaping the rewards of their hard work. The “have nots” of the millennial generation are the ones looking to government for their handouts, handouts they feel are owed them at the expense of the haves. This is where the liberal progressives come in and play off of the entitlement mindset of the millennials by demonizing the haves when they speak about the rich and how they must pay their fair share. What they fail to touch on is the fact that the majority of the “so called rich” worked for what it is they have and should be no means have to give to those in the flat ass society.

What we read on websites like Salon are a perfect example of the moronic liberal mindset that is plaguing the millennial generation.

Today we face a true crisis of democracy: the will of the people is no longer the priority of our political system. Our government is failing us. Democrats keep letting us down. Republicans are terrifying. Politicians continue to blame each other, failing to act on the most pressing issues of our time. It’s no surprise why: from every side, we see cynical pitches to Americans’ worst instincts and modest solutions proposed to big problems. Common sense measures on immigration, student debt, gun safety, incarceration, policing, and climate change have no chance of passing our broken system. Any visionary piece of legislation is threatened by a small number of Tea Party members refusing to pass any laws or gets stuck for years bouncing back and forth between closed-door committee hearings. As democracy is thrown to the wayside, we have ended up with the clearest signs of plutocracy: government by and for the wealthy determined to preserve the status quo and emboldened by procedural gridlock.

This idea that our government is somehow failing us is true but not for the reasons set forth in this article or for reasons most millennials have been brainwashed to believe. The true reason our government is failing us is because it has strayed from the Constitutional principles that provide the outline for its operation. With complete control of the educational system having been surrendered to the federal government and the diminishing role parents play in the lives of our children they are falling victim to the propaganda being fed to them by the liberal mainstream media!

And just when you think this Salon piece cannot get any more moronic they go on to explain,

Meanwhile, politicians continue to throw away billions of dollars incarcerating people, deporting mothers and fathers, and polluting our people and our planet. They continue to saddle us with student debt. They aren’t helping create real jobs that can sustain us. They stand by as many of our friends live in daily fear of police and immigration enforcement. And they continue subsidizing polluting fossil fuel companies who destroy the land we live on and the air we breathe.

First off the government wouldn't have to worry about throwing so much money at incarcerating people if society would some get back to morals, values, and showing common decency towards your fellow man. Second, it's not government saddling us with student debt, government isn't holding a gun to our heads making us go to college. If we want to solve the student debt crisis get government out of the student loan business, stop requiring students to enroll in ridiculous courses, and encourage kids to pursue other professions if they choose to. We need to make college a place to learn again, not a place to “find yourself”. Third, we need to have government officials willing to enforce existing immigration laws, enforce the border, and explain to people we are a nation of laws and one must abide by those laws if they want to come here. Lastly, we need to dispel the myth of global warming and disband the EPA. Global warming has been debunked time and time again, even the founder of the Weather Channel has come out saying global warming is a hoax; and the EPA is nothing but a bureaucratic mess that can do nothing better than raid a the Gibson guitar factory because they were making guitars out of wood from a “protected tree”.

This piece by Salon is literally a mish-mash of progressive ideologies designed to compel the minds of the mindless! The bottom line is we need to stop looking to government to solve the “most pressing” issues of our time and begin to look inward and ask what can I do to resolve these issues. We must ask what can I do to make society better? If we are able to obtain a sense of self reliance, morals, and values we will change this country in a way no government ever could!
