America's War on Christianity

This just keeps getting worse and worse as more Christian owned businesses are not only being shut down, the owners livelihoods are being completely ruined. The latest victim, this Oregon couple, owned a bake shop and they simply said that due to their Christian beliefs they couldn't bake a cake for a lesbian couple that requested their services. At no point were they derogatory, they some referenced their Christian beliefs as to why they couldn't perform the requested service.

Rather than speak out against the bakery and maybe utilize social media to demean the bakeries action, they went directly to the govt with their dispute. What happens next is utterly disgusting! The lesbian couple has filed a lawsuit with nearly 90 charges of how the bakeries refusal of service has caused them harm whether it be stress, weight gain, and a whole list of other ridiculous accusations.

As a result the couple who owned the obakery has since lost their shop and is now facing a $135,000 fine. It wasn't enough to simply take away their shop, the govt is now going after everything they have.

What has come of this country when people can no longer assert their religious beliefs anywhere. It's amazing that those who cry out for tolerance are the same ones who lack the same tolerance for people who may not agree with them. We are quickly becoming a country devoid of any religious liberty. The same religious liberty that so many, including my own family who fought for this country in the American Revolution, were willing to die for.

If you would like to support this couple please visit Samaritans Purse.

Appeals Court Hears Challenges on Obama's Unconstitutional Immigration Policy

I would love for one person to make a valid argument with regards to where Obama gets the authority to arbitrarily determine who is granted citizenship and who is not.

According to Article 1, Section 8, Claus 4 of the United States Constitution,

"The Congress shall have the power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization."

As one can clearly see, although the President can't seem to see this, the power of naturalization and in effect the subsequent dealings with immigration and naturalization as a whole lies in Congress, not in the hands of the President.  Bottom line is the actions by this president to take it upon himself to move forward with immigration policy without first consulting Congress is unconstitutional and an impeachable offense.

Don't be fooled by this President's excuse that he must act because Congress won't.  It doesn't matter whether or not Congress is acting or coming to a resolution on something the President decides is important.  He simply does not have the power to take over the powers of Congress.

Today we are seeing the 5th circuit court of appeals take up arguments over the validity of Obama's proposed immigration reform.  The mere fact that it has come to this is absolutely ridiculous! The government is wasting tax payer’s money debating whether or not Obama can deliberately act outside the confines of the Constitution.

According to ABC News

A coalition of 26 states, led by Texas sued to block the plan. The hearing was on an appeal of a Texas judge's injunction.

The Justice Department argued that Texas has no legal standing in the matter. Texas' solicitor general countered that granting legal status to immigrants will be costly for Texas.

The judges did not rule and took the case under advisement.
It is quite clear that more than half of the states are extremely concerned with the possible effects of this proposed immigration reform.  If the immigration reform were to go through it would have a hug effect on the states as the federal government plans on putting the burden of taking care of the illegals solely on the states.

The states will have to deal with providing schooling for the millions of new illegal alien students, the states will have to deal with health concerns brought here by individuals from third world countries, and the states will have to deal with issuing these illegal aliens credentials that should only be provided to United States citizens.

ABC News then goes on to explain,

Benjamin Mizer, the Justice Department's principal deputy assistant attorney general, called Texas' suit unprecedented and argued that immigration policy is a domain of the federal government.

The whole reason the Texas suit is "unprecedented" is because the actions of this President are also unprecedented.  Never before has a president taken it upon himself to rule on immigration policy.  And don't talk to me about Reagan, the immigration bill that he signed into law back in 1986 was drafted and passed by Congress.  Therefore the immigration reform was Constitutional.

Yes immigration reform is a domain of the federal government as stated by Benjamin Mizer, it's just not a domain of the office of the President.

Words of Wisdom from Coach Krzyzewski Obama Should Listen To

If you follow college basketball, you know at this point that the Duke Blue Devils have won their 5th national title under Coach Mike Krzyzewski.  This coach clearly knows how to manage a team and take them into battle.  While this may not be the type of life or death battle our brave men and women who serve in the military face when they step onto the battlefield, the mentality is still the same.  When you go into battle of any kind, you go in to win it.  If only our commander and chief would have the same mindset.

After winning his 5th national title, coach Krzyzewski didn't hold back while speaking in front of a group of Army officers, defense contractors, and Army supporters.

According to ConservativeTribune.com Coach Krzyzewski explained,

As he accepted the award in front of a group of Army officers, defense contractors and Army supporters, Coach K criticized President Barack Obama for publicly announcing that he didn't intend to deploy ground troops to fight the radical militants of the Islamic State group.

If a basketball coach gets it, why the hell can't the President of the United States get it?  Why doesn't our president understand the importance of military strategy and not tipping your hand to your enemy?  It is safe to say that our president may be oblivious to the effect his lack of foreign policy has on our national safety.  This is what you get when you elect an individual that has the mindset of a college liberal.  Obama believes that we are the problem in the world and that we need to passively approach terrorism and seek to appease them, which will inevitably lead to our demise.

Coach Krzyzewski continues,

“I know it’s upsetting to many of you when you hear ‘no boots on the ground,'” Coach K said. “It upsets me too because that’s like saying I’m not going to play two of my best players.”

He went on to explain the fundamentals of war-planning to the commander in chief, saying, “It’s about letting your opponent know that we are going to use our best players. Now whether you use them or not, that’s up to the coach. You never tell an opponent you are not going to use them.”

It is a really simple mindset! Mr. Obama you do not let your opponent know when or if you are going to use your best players.  You claim to be a big sports fan so you should realize that the win at all cost mentality should apply when fighting the damn terrorists.  We must defeat them over there or fight them here and if our president had his way, we would end up fighting them here.
