RINO’s Fret at the Demise of “Traditional Media”

We are seeing more and more RINO (Republican in name only) Republicans and Democrats alike throw hissy fits over the ever expanding alternative media sources. We are at an unprecedented moment in history. Never before have so many people had access to as many different news sources as we do today. The Internet has given birth to entirely new ways in which we consume and share news. The social media boom now let's individuals share articles with thousands of other people with just the tap of a screen.

Liberals and RINO's long for the days in which a select few controlled the talking points, a day when they could literally force feed the general public the so called “facts”. They could do this and no one knew any better as there was no real way to question the news stories unless you wanted to take up investigative journalism. Today a growing number of people, myself included, look to sites like Twitter and Facebook in an attempt to get our news as these social media sites often times offer a wide variety of news articles posted by friends foes alike. We also have alternative sources like blogs, news outlets like The Blaze, Brietbart, Drudge, and many more similar sites offering a wide range of news topics one can read that would have never been available just a mere 10 years ago.

These ever expanding news outlets scare the crap out of mainstream politicians as they can no longer tell us what we want to hear to get elected.  We now have the ability to fact check what it is they say. We can look up their history and see what it is they once stood for and compare that to what they are telling us they stand for today.

Establishment Republican Mitt Romney is one RINO that is absolutely terrified of the new age media as he explained in this Brietbart piece,

“There was a time when we all got the news with the same facts, if you will,” he said. “We had three networks we watched for the evening news. Most of us got newspapers. Everybody in the middle class got a newspaper, so we got the same facts whether we agreed or not with them.”

This statement by Romney exemplifies what is wrong with our entire governmental process. We heard Obama say he was going to have one of the most transparent administrations in American history and we all know that couldn't possibly be further from the truth. Now we hear a Republican complaining that the government  can no longer control the news narrative throughout the media. This proves those on either side of the isle are truly worried that the average citizen has the resources to hold their feet to the fire and call them out when they do not govern as promised.

While many turn to alternative media for their news far too many still fall victim to what is fed to them by the mainstream media.

Brietbart goes on to explain,

In this election cycle in which outsiders on the GOP side are getting the majority of the vote, Donald Trump has bypassed the traditional media and gone over their heads to get his message directly to his supporters and American voters. Romney blasted Trump on the podcast and implied that his remarks about women, “members of the news media,” and Hispanics would hurt Republicans like Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remarks during the 2012 election cycle. Romney referred to “certain things” that were “said by Republicans during my general election race in 2012 colored the perception of the Republican Party and may have caused some people to stay at home.”

While they like to claim that Trump has gone over the heads of traditional media outlets one must always remain skeptical as Trump is now being shoved down our throats by those same mainstream media talking heads. Ask yourself why is everything all about Trump. Does the media know something about him we don't? Do they have an ace in the hole they will play if Trump becomes the Republican nominee? Before you jump on the Trump bandwagon I suggest you do your research and really look into all of the candidates. For the first time in history we have virtually limitless resources at our disposal giving us the opportunity do our due diligence to ensure we make an educated decision for the upcoming election!

Stop Catering to the Illegal Alien

Enough is enough! I'm sick and tired of the left trying to reconfigure the English language to avoid “offending” people. We are seeing the pussification of our society through the guise of political correctness run amok. This mentality is coming from those in the mainstream media and is being driven by the liberals in government. The underlying principle (if you want to call it that) is the idea that if the ruling class can eliminate anything that makes one person different from another they can essentially make us all the same. You are no better than the other guy regardless of how hard you work or the sacrifices you make, you don't deserve to reap the benefits of your labor. After all it's simply not fair that you should have excess when those in the flat ass society who don't work, who don't put forth any effort to earn the things they want, have nothing.

This idea couldn't be more relevant when it comes to illegal… (yes I said ILLEGAL, because when you break a law that makes what you're doing illegal) aliens! When an individual enters our country without going through the proper immigration process they are breaking our immigration laws. Yet to the Democrats they are simply “dreamers”, and now the director of housing and urban development Rep. JoaquĆn Castro (D-Texas) is putting in motion a bill in which illegal aliens would have to be referred to as “undocumented foreign national”.

According to The Hill,

"America is a nation of immigrants, yet our federal government continues to use terms that dehumanize and ostracize those in our society who happen to have been born elsewhere," Castro said in a release.

"Regardless of status, immigrants to our nation are first and foremost human beings. Removing the term 'alien' from our federal laws shows respect to our shared heritage and to the hundreds of millions of descendants of immigrants who call America home."

Let's break this down for what I like to call the wrong information voter. I agree our nation is indeed a nation of immigrants, immigrants who arrived here legally and abided by the current immigration statutes that were applicable when they arrived here. If we begin to break down the immigration laws that help us to remain a sovereign nation what will we be left with? We will simply be a land with no borders, we will no longer have a country as we will simply occupy a space once known as the United States of America! Then again that is the end game of the liberal elitist. Their ultimate goal is for us all to become citizens of the “world”. Hence why they demean and belittle anyone who shows true pride in America and truly believes American exceptionalism!

If you are born elsewhere and would like to come to America believe me we would live to have you. All we ask is that you abide by our laws and come here legally. I agree we are all human beings and deserve to be treated with respect, which is why no one individual deserves to be placed at the front of the line in front of those who are going through the immigration process in a legal manner. If we are truly all created equal why are those like Julian Castro prioritizing the ILLEGAL ALIEN?

It's quite some because they know they can manipulate them and use them to their advantage. The liberal elitist ruling class doesn't have the best intentions of the individual at heart. They know if they can just get the illegal aliens here and find a way to guilt the American people into accepting amnesty they will have a virtually unlimited supply of new voters. Voters they they can promise an unlimited supply of free crap to paid for by you guessed it, the American taxpayer!

Welcome to the North American Union formerly known as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the countries that make up Central and South America. We will all be equally miserable if the liberal elitist get their way because after all socialism if for the people, never the socialist!

What is Conservatism?

What is conservatism?  When most hear the word conservative they automatically think of those supposed greedy, big business, fat cats that the government constantly demeans.  This couldn’t possibly be further from the truth!  The root of the word Conservative,  conserve, means protect from harm or destruction.  This is where the true conservative sits, they want to protect our governing system before it breaks under its own weight. We Conservatives believe in a limited government that is truly by and for the people.  We have come so far from government as the founders intended, that most do not realize what it was they intended in the first place.

The question then becomes how do we get back to the founding principles?  For any logical, reasonable individual the answer is simple, we get back to the Constitution.  Herein lies the problem, many of the youth of today either believe the Constitution is just an “outdated” document that is no longer relevant, or they literally have no idea what the Constitution even is.  We have come to a point in history in which we the people must take the responsibility to ensure that our youth are properly educated. Our children have fallen victim to a failing educational system that is clearly steering them down the path to becoming zombies ripe for the picking when they graduate. We have programs like common core that are designed specifically to indoctrinate the youth by teaching a distorted view of history, convoluted mathematical thought processes and the like.

The conundrum with this scenario is how do we relate to the youth?  Tonight I had the pleasure of speaking with an individual who truly opened my eyes to a new perspective on connecting with the younger generation.  I like to consider myself young hence (Young Conservative on Twitter) but I guess I think like the older more mature generation.  As a result, my approach to educating the youth of today is clearly falling short.  The person I spoke with tonight that really opened my eyes to revising approach in how I express my conservative views was Mr. Phil Williams of the Phil Williams show.  His show is available on Tune In radio Monday through Friday from 4PM to 7PM.

Mr. Williams and I spoke for quite a while and he provided me insight on what it is like to be a black man and a conservative.  So many today hear black and conservative and they automatically think the person “isn’t down with the cause”, or is an “uncle Tom” and so on and so forth.  After speaking with Mr. Williams one realizes that these accusations are utterly ridiculous as there is absolutely no reason a person living in the black community shouldn’t be conservative.  The reason more people in the black community do not embrace the conservative movement is simply because they have been brainwashed by the liberal, progressive, Democrats.  Many have fallen victim to the freebies government dangles in front of them without realizing that by buying into the free stuff they remain slaves to that free stuff. They remain repaint on the government and as time goes on the reliance grows until they look to government as the sole means of their existence!

The question is then how do we reach those in the black community that do not yet realize they need the conservative movement to reach their full potential in life and break the chains government has placed on them keeping them down.  Mr. Williams was able to articulate a new approach, one that places us on a level playing field with those who we are trying to reach.  For far too long the typical conservative has talked down to those in the urban community which has alienated them from even considering what the conservative ideals have to offer.  This new approach that Mr. Williams was able to portray included providing historical context as to who really has the best interest of not only the black community in mind but our society as a whole (not the democrats).  We must be able to speak to the skeptical liberal in a way that brings to light the illogical nature of their argument without speaking down to them.

This new approach is an idea I intend to implement in my conversations with liberal progressives as I have often times been somewhat combative.  If the conservative movement as a whole can begin to change the tide in the way we approach those who don’t agree with us we can easily gather thousands if not tens or even hundreds of thousands of people to join us.  We simply need to change our style and truly portray the conservative movement as something that is beneficial not only to the “rich” but to everyone.  Conservative, limited government spurs economic growth, provides incentive to those in the lower and middle classes that they can work hard and reap the benefits that accompany their hard work.  It’s time we conservatives wake up and get with the times, the old approach clearly isn’t working and I feel that the approach presented by Phil Williams has real substance to it.  We must begin to utilize these tools, the life of our country depends on it!

GOP Establishment in Disarray and I Love It!

McCarthy stepping down from his candidacy for speaker of the house is exactly what this country needs! I love hearing those in the liberal media and the morons at MSNBC sit there and spew their filth about how the Republican party is in complete disarray. If you ask me I think the Republican party isn't in enough disarray! We the people have been speaking and speaking loudly as we have been electing more and more conservative delegates to represent us in Washington and it's about time we see them do what it is we sent them there to do.

In case you aren't sure what that is, we sent them there to restore the Constitutional Republic that the founders of this country constructed over 200 years ago. We sent them there to reign in the federal government which under Obama has continued to usurp more and more power from the states and the American people as a whole. Finally we are seeing the beginning of what will hopefully be a change in the dynamic of the federal government, a change that will bring back limited federal power and a restoration of constitutional principles.

According to The Daily Signal,

When the House Freedom Caucus, which consists of around 40 House members, announced Wednesday that it would support Rep. Daniel Webster, R-Fla., that meant the frontrunner, Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., would likely fall short of the 218 votes he needed in the full House vote, which had been scheduled for later this month.

So, while 40 votes, give or take, isn’t enough to make someone the next speaker of the House, it is enough to ensure that someone won’t be.

Many of us sit and think what can I do, I'm only one person, my vote doesn't really count for anything. Well I have news for you our votes do count for something and our voices are beginning to be heard! We have made waves in the House and Senate and the establishment is going crazy trying to make sense of it all! They are finally realizing that their time in the oasis is up and we the people are coming for them. Now is the time to strengthen our stranglehold on the establishment and progressives in DC, we must hit them while they're down, and we must continue to make strides in restoring this country to what it once was!
