Teaching the Syrian Refugees Not to Rape

The debate has been raging over whether or not we should be bringing tens or even hundreds of thousands of refugees, mainly from Syria and other areas of the middle east, to the United States. There are a few things to consider before we even get to the point at which we should bring anyone new to this country.  Already in this country we have thousands of homeless veterans on the streets that should be the number one concern of our government before any refugee, I don’t care where they are coming from or for what reason they are coming here.  The veterans are individuals who put it all on the line for this country and are literally being shit on by the country they risked their lives to defend.

Moving on from the veteran, we have homeless and even handicapped people that should take precedence over any non-citizen.  We constantly hear the left complain about “gun control” and the need for more mental healthcare in this country. Why not reallocate tax payer money from supporting the refugees to taking care of our homeless and mentally ill.  The list could go on and on as to what the money should be reallocated for but there is one more extremely pressing issue to consider when determining whether or not to admit people from a culture and lifestyle that is completely alien from the way we do things here in America.

A major concern that has arisen as more and more refugees pour into Europe from Syria and other Muslim countries from throughout the middle east and Africa is the clash in lifestyles and cultures.  Norway has even begun instituting classes to teach the new refugees not to rape women.  Yes you read that right, they are offering classes to the new refugees designed to teach them not to rape women, and who is paying for it? THEIR TAX PAYING CITIZENS!!!!

This crisis isn't native to Norway as the video below shows how the rape culture is running rampant throughout Germany as well, a country who has already admitted hundreds of thousands of said refugees.

According to the NY Times,

A course manual sets out a simple rule that all asylum seekers need to learn and follow: “To force someone into sex is not permitted in Norway, even when you are married to that person.”

A course is needed that outlines the idea that it is not ok to force someone into sex!  Why is it anyone else's responsibility to bring individuals into another country with a completely different lifestyle and subject the women of that country to a real rape culture?  I don’t care what the circumstances are, there is absolutely no justification for bringing in anyone who advocates such behavior.  Yet there is an onslaught of pressure from the left and the Obama administration to bring these same individuals into the United States.

This NY Times piece goes on to explain,

“The biggest danger for everyone is silence,” said Per Isdal, a clinical psychologist in Stavanger who works with the foundation, which developed the program Mr. Kelifa attended in Sandes.

Many refugees “come from cultures that are not gender equal and where women are the property of men,” Mr. Isdal said. “We have to help them adapt to their new culture.”

I’m sorry but there is absolutely no excuse for raping women or anyone for that matter regardless of where you come from or what your “culture” permits. This alone should be reason enough to not admit people with this cultural mindset, and then to burden the citizen with teaching the newly admitted refugees is absolutely absurd! There is plenty of room for these refugees throughout Saudi Arabia and other areas in the middle east where this type of behavior is tolerated.
Reuters recently reported,

The United States faces significant security risks by agreeing to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees, which the Obama administration said it would do last week, said Rep. Peter King, a Republican from suburban New York.

"I'm very concerned we're going to let terrorists into the country," King said in an interview on Monday with the Thomson Reuters Foundation. "It is virtually impossible to vet who's coming in from Syria."

Instead, pressure should be put on Middle Eastern to open their gates to the refugee influx, he said.

"There's far more room in Saudi Arabia or really in almost any of those countries," said King, who chairs the Committee on Homeland Security's Subcommittee on Counter terrorism and Intelligence in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Refugees from throughout the middle east pose numerous risks to both Europe and the United States, one of which is the rape culture that is inherent within their society.  Couple that with the fact that there is plenty of room to house these individuals in countries that align with their culture and there is no reason we should even consider admitting them into the United States. Then again one must come to the realization that the Democrats see these people, along with the illegal aliens flooding our southern border, as their next biggest voting base.
