Cruzzin Past Trump in Iowa

Big news this Sunday morning as it looks like Trump is not as infallible as many think he is.  Thus far I have been looking at the GOP field and giving everyone an equal shot in my eyes to win the Republican nomination for the president.  Too many people are buying into what is being fed to them via the mainstream media and are getting caught up in the hoopla that same media has created as they hang on every word Trump says.  I'll be the first to say that when Trump appears to screw up, somehow it only strengthens his stance in the polls and that just adds to is already over inflated ego.

Just a few examples of Trumps debacles...



In this particular instance we see Donald Trump literally mock handicapped individuals as he speaks about the Muslims that were celebrating in Jersey City, NJ shortly after the 9/11 attacks.  While his claim was later confirmed as video had surfaced showing the individuals indeed were celebrating, the problem is how Trump went about explaining this incident.  Do we really want an individual like this, who possesses such lack of couth, as the leader of the free world and one who will represent us around the world.

Again we see Trump on his high horse and this time he is literally mocking and belittling a fellow candidate.  In this instance it is about respect, or lack thereof, from an individual who has his sights on the highest office in this country.  When I look for someone who I would back as president of the United States, I look for someone who commands respect; not someone who tosses around names and acts like a child when he doesn't get his way.  After all we are now seeing Trump threatening that he may actually run third party if the GOP doesn't start treating him fairly.  On what grounds can he speak about fair behavior when we see him mock handicapped people and belittle nearly every single individual vying for the GOP nomination to become president?

Along Comes Ted Cruz

While everyone was pandering over Trump and his recent statements about how he intends to keep Islamic terrorists from entering the United States, Texas Senator Ted Cruz was busy running a campaign rooted in fundamental principles on how he intends to implement his policies.

According to Brietbart,

Cruz has 31 percent support, followed by Donald Trump with 21 percent. Since October, Cruz has gained 21 points while Trump has gained just 2 percent. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson is in 3rd place with 13 percent, down 15 points since October. Florida

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% is 4th with 10 percent support, essentially unchanged since the last poll.

Are people beginning to wake up to Trump and his antics?  This aforementioned pole is a fantastic indicator that people are fed up with Trump and his whining that if he isn’t treated fairly he’ll leave the party.  While that may strike fear into many traditional Republican voters, I feel that the core of the Republican party today stands on clear morals and values and they are able to see right through everything Trump says and understand there isn’t really any substance behind the rhetoric.

That substance that Trump lacks Cruz makes up for and a prime example of this is explained here,

There were two other campaign developments this week, however, that perhaps go even further to explain the strong support coalescing behind Cruz. On Thursday, Cruz gave a speech focused on foreign policy at the Heritage Foundation. Echoing Ronald Reagan and Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Cruz outlined a robust strategy to combat radical terrorism without miring the US in overseas conflicts.

This is what we need, in a candidate who can literally back up what he says with methods and policies depicting how he will carry out his plan. Ted Cruz understands the Constitution and the responsibility of holding the highest office in the land.  He doesn’t just speak on platitudes, he speaks about the issuing we face as a nation and provides detailed outlines of how he intends to address those issues .  The next time you see Trump on CNN, MSNBC, Good Morning America, Fox News, or anywhere else spouting off trying to keep himself in the limelight think to yourself, does this man really have a plan for this country or is he all talk?

Syrians at our Southern Border

Why bother going out of the way to bring the Syrian refugees here?  They're already making their way here via our porous southern border.  We hear Trump go on and on about how lax the security is at our southern border and although I don't always agree with his bombastic attitude he is definitely right on this one.  It's no secret that we basically do not have a border between us and Mexico and Mexico with do nothing to stop illegal immigrants from using their country as a transportation hub to get to America.

According to a recent post on Brietbart,

Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents.

The sources claimed that eight Syrians were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015. According to the sources, the Syrians were in two separate “family units” and were apprehended at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1.

Of course they were apprehended in two separate “family units”!  They had to be apprehended in such a manner as to continue to tug on the heartstrings of Americans that individuals crossing our southern border are just women and children looking for a better life.  How dare we even consider restricting not letting this poor huddled masses yearning to be free into our great nation.  This is the card liberals play on conservatives who actually stand for the rule of law and realize the possible threat that unfettered immigration into this country poses to every single American citizen.  Couple that with the threat faced with ISIS and the importance of screening every single individual that enters this country is compounded tenfold.

As if this more recent incident isn’t enough rewind back to September and Brietbart reported on another incident regarding Syrian migrants attempting to cross the southern border.

According to Brietbart back in September,

Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested 27-year-old Walaa Alrehawi and her brother-in-law 46-year-old Mohammad Ziad Alzalam last week in the border city of Hidalgo.

On Monday, the two went before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos, who read them their rights and ordered they be held without bond pending a detention hearing later this week.

Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed that Ziad travelled to Beirut, Lebanon, to pick up Alrehawi who has been identified as his sister-in-law. She allegedly used the passport belonging to Ziad’s wife to fly to Frankfurt, Germany. From there, the two flew to the Mexican resort town of Cancun. The duo eventually made their way to the Mexican city of Reynosa and subsequently tried to enter the United States through Hidalgo.

In this incident we see two individuals who attempt to use fake passports to gain entrance into the United States.  This is the same type of scenario that played out in Paris when the islamists, one of which was tied to the Syrian refugee population, who allegedly arrived in France using a fake passport.

I know many are running around crying about how ignorant it is for us to turn away anyone who may want to come here.  There are a few things that one must take into consideration though before rushing to such judgement.  Given the aforementioned events that have unfolded not only in Paris but with regards to Syrians attempting to enter the United States illegally, it is essential we remain skeptical.  Additionally, our vetting process is under great scrutiny from all levels of government including the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies. Lastly, do we really have the resources at this point to take care of upwards of 80,000 more people in this country?  We cannot even take care of our veterans and we want to import more people who will inevitably be a burden to the already overloaded welfare system.

Carson Strikes Fear into the Establishment and Progressives Alike

Ask yourself, why is the media all of the sudden become so obsessed with taking down Dr. Ben Carson?  Why are they focusing all of their hatred and vitriol at man regarding things that may seem senseless with regards to becoming president?  I am by no means trying to give Carson a free pass, if he did indeed commit any sorts of lies in his past I feel he should come clean. I feel this should be the case for any individual running for public office as they all should be held to the utmost standards of accountability.  What we need to look at is why is all of the scrutiny coming down directly onto Carson like it is?  Trump and Carson are neck and neck in the poles yet Carson is the one receiving all of the negative press.  

Just this past weekend we saw a hit piece put out by Politico hit piece in which they were attempting to delve into his past and the claim that he apparently fabricated a West Point Scholarship.  First of all, whether or not he fabricated a Scholarship to West Point really has no bearing on him becoming president if many in this country are considering backing a person for president who as Secretary of State let our brave men at Benghazi get slaughtered.  Nonetheless I feel that Dr. Ben Carson should come clean as to what really happened with his West Point Scholarship.  

As with most stories it take a little time for the truth to come out and thanks to the plethora of news outlets we have available to us today it quickly did.  We have come to find out that Politico has rewritten several aspects of the original hit piece to as usual make the accusations somewhat vague so they don't take the fall for defaming Carson.

According to Brietbart,

The original headline reads: “Ben Carson admits fabricating West Point scholarship.”

The updated headline reads: “Exclusive: Carson claimed West Point ‘scholarship’ but never applied.”

The original lede reads: “Carson’s campaign on Friday admitted that a central point in his inspirational personal story was fabricated.”

The update reads: “Republican hits POLITICO story, later admits to The New York Times he wasn’t offered aid.”

As you can clearly see Politico was feeling the heat as they were stretching to dig up dirt on Dr. Carson.  What we later came to find out is that Carson was at the top of his ROTC class in high school and met with some highly regarded individuals from the service and the possibility of him being presented with the opportunity to attend West Point was put on the table. As history shows he clearly declined the opportunity to attend West Point as he had aspirations of becoming a doctor.  Thank God he did as he went on to save thousands of lives.  So the next time you see a hit piece on anyone, let alone someone with the character and accomplishments of the likes of Dr Carson you need to do your homework first.

RINO’s Fret at the Demise of “Traditional Media”

We are seeing more and more RINO (Republican in name only) Republicans and Democrats alike throw hissy fits over the ever expanding alternative media sources. We are at an unprecedented moment in history. Never before have so many people had access to as many different news sources as we do today. The Internet has given birth to entirely new ways in which we consume and share news. The social media boom now let's individuals share articles with thousands of other people with just the tap of a screen.

Liberals and RINO's long for the days in which a select few controlled the talking points, a day when they could literally force feed the general public the so called “facts”. They could do this and no one knew any better as there was no real way to question the news stories unless you wanted to take up investigative journalism. Today a growing number of people, myself included, look to sites like Twitter and Facebook in an attempt to get our news as these social media sites often times offer a wide variety of news articles posted by friends foes alike. We also have alternative sources like blogs, news outlets like The Blaze, Brietbart, Drudge, and many more similar sites offering a wide range of news topics one can read that would have never been available just a mere 10 years ago.

These ever expanding news outlets scare the crap out of mainstream politicians as they can no longer tell us what we want to hear to get elected.  We now have the ability to fact check what it is they say. We can look up their history and see what it is they once stood for and compare that to what they are telling us they stand for today.

Establishment Republican Mitt Romney is one RINO that is absolutely terrified of the new age media as he explained in this Brietbart piece,

“There was a time when we all got the news with the same facts, if you will,” he said. “We had three networks we watched for the evening news. Most of us got newspapers. Everybody in the middle class got a newspaper, so we got the same facts whether we agreed or not with them.”

This statement by Romney exemplifies what is wrong with our entire governmental process. We heard Obama say he was going to have one of the most transparent administrations in American history and we all know that couldn't possibly be further from the truth. Now we hear a Republican complaining that the government  can no longer control the news narrative throughout the media. This proves those on either side of the isle are truly worried that the average citizen has the resources to hold their feet to the fire and call them out when they do not govern as promised.

While many turn to alternative media for their news far too many still fall victim to what is fed to them by the mainstream media.

Brietbart goes on to explain,

In this election cycle in which outsiders on the GOP side are getting the majority of the vote, Donald Trump has bypassed the traditional media and gone over their heads to get his message directly to his supporters and American voters. Romney blasted Trump on the podcast and implied that his remarks about women, “members of the news media,” and Hispanics would hurt Republicans like Todd Akin’s “legitimate rape” remarks during the 2012 election cycle. Romney referred to “certain things” that were “said by Republicans during my general election race in 2012 colored the perception of the Republican Party and may have caused some people to stay at home.”

While they like to claim that Trump has gone over the heads of traditional media outlets one must always remain skeptical as Trump is now being shoved down our throats by those same mainstream media talking heads. Ask yourself why is everything all about Trump. Does the media know something about him we don't? Do they have an ace in the hole they will play if Trump becomes the Republican nominee? Before you jump on the Trump bandwagon I suggest you do your research and really look into all of the candidates. For the first time in history we have virtually limitless resources at our disposal giving us the opportunity do our due diligence to ensure we make an educated decision for the upcoming election!

Obama Sets the Stage for WWIII

As if our pathetic excuse of a president hasn't done enough to undermine and demean what the United States stands for he sinks to a new low! He has now put the US in direct diplomatic talks with an admitted states sponsor of terror the Iranian regime under Ali Khamenei! This is an individual who along with his fellow countrymen have opening chanted death to America in the streets and are determined to see the destruction of Israel! How can we possibly even consider striking a deal with an nation whose citizens believe in the death of America?

  
Obama is setting the stage for the demise of the Western way of life as we know it.  That is the end game of the radical regime in Iran!  This is a country that supports Hezbollah whose outspoken goal is the destruction of the Jewish state.  The same Jewish state that is our only true ally in the entire middle east.  Yes we have other allies but none like Israel!

Aside from stabbing Israel in the back, we are also lifting sanctions on Iran which will inevitably have negative affects not only for Israel but for the entire region. By lifting sanctions on Iran we are in turn giving them the ability to acquire more money, money that National Security Advisor Susan Rice has openly admitted could be used to fund the  Iranian military!

Susan Rice explains in this Brietbart piece how the money may be used,

But yes, it is real, it is possible, and, in fact, we should expect that some portion of that money would go to the Iranian military and could potentially be used for the kinds of bad behavior that we have seen in the region up until now. But the goal here, Wolf, was never, and was not designed to prevent them from engaging in bad behavior in region. They’re doing that today. The goal is to ensure that they don’t have a nuclear weapon, and therefore, when they are engaging in that bad behavior, are that much more dangerous.”

It is quite clear this deal is setting the stage for a showdown in the not too distant future in which we will be faced with a nuclear Iran. When Iran comes into these large sums of money they will amass once the sanctions are lifted you can rest assured they will put that money to use acquiring nuclear technology. Along with the money, we are reportedly giving them a two week window between the time at which we announce we are inspecting their facilities and when we actually inspect them. WE ARE GOING THEM A TWO WEEK WINDOW!! During this time the Iranian regime will have more than enough time to cover their tracks and hide whatever they may be up to! It's time people wake up and realize that there is no negotiating with radical Islam and until this realization is made within our federal government we are on the cusp of WWIII!!

Restoring Pride in America

The significance of the 4^th of July seems to be waning as the years go by which is truly sad considering this date is the day we are supposed to celebrate the birth of this great nation.  Yes I said it America is a great nation!  This is an idea that also seems to be waning thanks to our president who is selling us out to the rest of the world.  Since becoming president we have seen a steady decline in patriotism throughout the country across nearly all age groups.

According to Brietbart,

The poll, conducted from June 2-7, showed only 54% of respondents agreeing that they were “extremely proud” to be Americans, the lowest percentage in the 15 years Gallup has asked the question. In 2001, before the 9/11 attacks, the percentage rested at 55%, rising to 70% by 2003, but the percentage has vacillated between 58% and the current 54% ever since Barack Obama took office.

It’s quite sad that it takes a terrorist attack the likes of what we all witnessed on 9/11 to give people a sense of togetherness and pride in their country.  As the years have gone by we have become complacent and really begun taking things for granted.  The younger generation is growing up with an entitlement mentality which is a large factor contributing to the downfall of how people view their country.  You add Obama’s rhetoric into the mix as he continues to divide the country racially, by class, and by gender and it’s safe to say there is more divisiveness among Americans than at any time in recent history.

Brietbart goes on to explain,

In another non-surprise, the older Americans were, the more likely they were to feel extremely proud of their country; 64% of those over 65 felt that way; 58% of those aged 50-64; 52.5% of the 30-49 age group, and only 43% of youngsters ages 18-29.

These statistics just confirm what I was just explaining.  The younger generation is being brainwashed by our leaders and by our federally run school system with a blame America first mentality.  Our schools no longer teach that American exceptionalism.  Instead they teach about the supposed “atrocities” that America has committed throughout its history and NEVER talk about the good that has resulted in the birth of this country.  Never before in the history of the world had a country like America been conceived in which a man was considered to be endowed by his creator with inalienable rights.  Rights that are not provided by government, but rights that are universal rights the founders believed to be God given rights.

This Fourth of July when you are watching the fireworks think about what this country represents.  Think about the famous words of Ronald Reagan as he believed America to be that “shining city on a hill”. He had faith in the goodness of America and the goodness of its citizens.  This is the type of faith we need to restore in this country and it all starts with showing respect for what this country stands for and the ability to stand tall and say I am proud to be an American!

Fist the Confederate Flag, Now the American Flag

First the confederate flag has fallen and as Rush Limbaugh predicted the next flag to come under attack is, you guessed it the American flag!

According to Rush via Politico,

“Can you just hear it now? I can hear it now: ‘The United States flag has flown over slavery and symbolized racism, discrimination, bigotry, homophobia for hundreds of years; the Confederate flag flew only four years, and we’re getting rid of the Confederate flag.’ Mark my words.”

It is utterly pathetic how the left just keeps moving from one thing to the next demonizing everything this country stands for. All of our history is out the window in the name of "racism" and "bigotry". The liberal morons on the left fail to give credit to how far we've come since the inception of this great nation. They fail to realize we have overcome slavery, and people are more equal now than at any time in history.

We see a heinous acts like the one that took place in Charleston and we are told that it's society's fault and we must all change our ways as a result... Yet we see radical islamists carry out even more heinous acts like the one that took place in Moore, Oklahoma or in Ft Hood, Texas and we're told it's just workplace violence; there's nothing to see here move along. If the morons on the left want to generalize acts like this and blame them on a broad group of people at least they could be consistent and touch on radical Islam as the culprit just as they tackled the confederate flag as the reason Dylan Roof carried out the church shooting about a week ago.

Not long after governor Nikki Haley stated that she was in favor of removing the confederate flag we see Farrakhan attacking the American flag.

According to Brietbart Farrakhan stated,

“I don’t know what the hell the fight is about over the Confederate flag. We need to put the American flag down. Because we’ve caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag,” comments that were meant with cheers and applause. He added, “Who are we fighting today? It’s the people that carry the American flag.”

The radical left are beginning to show their true colors. I say it time and time again that we need to wake up and see what's going on right in front of our own eyes. 

People like this are coming to the forefront and brainwashing the youth into believing America is and always was the worst country on the face of the earth.  According to this individual and those like him, America is still and always was a hateful, racist nation that must be taken down from the inside out!

MSNBC Defends Texas Terror Attack on Free Speech Event

The so called objective reporter Ayman Mohyeldin who of course is employed by one of the most fact based news agencies known to man the great MSNBC, or as the great one Mark Levin likes to refer to them as "MSLSD", has made the case for censoring speech in the United States to avoid offending Muslims!

This pathetic rhetoric is typical for the likes of MSNBC as they have become a bastion of liberal, hypocritical policy suggestions as well as figuring out ways to destroy the Constitution. What they fail to realize is that Islam is far from the only religion criticized in this country.

According to Brietbart,

"As though “The Book of Mormon” wasn’t currently running on Broadway; as though San Francisco doesn’t hold a blasphemous “Hunky Jesus & Foxy Mary“” contest every year; as though “Piss Christ” wasn’t funded by the American government; as though Hollywood didn’t spend billions producing one film after another trashing Christianity— without being challenged by anyone on “Morning Joe,” Mohyeldin  crybaby his lie about Muslims being singled out in America."

The double standard that exists in this country with regards to the Islamic faith opposed to other faiths is utterly pathetic. Most other faiths today including all denominations of Christianity Mormons, and many other faiths throughout the world do not even come close to advocating the type of violence you see in Islam does. Additionally, these faiths are mocked and ridiculed constantly which would lead one to feel that violence from these faiths could almost be justified, yet they remain peaceful.

Move onto the Islamic faith which literally calls for death to the non-believer and we see so many in this country hold this religion in such high regard as to try and justify the killing that takes place in the name of freaking Allah. If Christians were killing in the name of Jesus we'd be getting rounded up in the streets. Bottom line is we in this country have the right to free speech whether the radical Islamic nut jobs agree or not! If you don't like it then get the hell out of my country!
