Mexico Will Pay for Trump's Wall

So we are roughly a week into the Trump presidency and he has been moving at lightning speed setting out to accomplish everything he has promised during his presidential campaign.  One of the projects that made up the foundation of his campaign was securing the border which became an issue due to the immigration crisis we are currently experiencing in this country as hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants stream across our southern border.  We have heard from politicians for decades about stemming this flow and up until now they have been all talk.

Notice I said up until now!  Finally it appears we have a president sitting at the desk in the oval office who is actually putting actions behind his words.  This is a starch contrast to what we have witnessed for quite some time now, especially during the Obama administration as he failed to follow through on almost all of his campaign promises.  Remember “hope and change”?  I rest my case.

Nonetheless Trump is determined we need to secure our border and he sees a wall as the solution to the problem. While there may be some debate on this aspect of securing the border, one thing is for sure, Trump has said time and time again that Mexico would pay for the wall.

While this has been a hotly contested topic of discussion there is one thing people are forgetting to realize.  Whether or not you agree with the building of the wall, it is part of our government's constitutional duty to secure our borders. I know that may sound harsh and to some snowflakes out there they may need to retreat to their safe spaces at the thought of the United States securing its borders but there is no disputing it.

The United States Constitution specifically states,
Article 4, Section 4
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

It seems quite clear the federal government hasn’t been standing up to their end of the Constitution. The citizens of each state are still required to continue funding the federal government though regardless of the fact that numerous states around the country are literally being overrun with illegal aliens.  The fact that this is occurring is also a large reason why Donald Trump was elected president in the first place. We the people saw in him someone who would buck the trend of the typical go along to get along politicians in DC.  We saw in him someone who would once and for all secure our border and restore sovereignty to this country.

Moving forward to the next issue regarding The Wall, the big beautiful, YUUGGEEE WALL!  How do we pay for it? There has been argument after argument as to how we would pay for what is estimated by some to be a $15 to $20 billion dollar project.  Well I have one possible theory as to how we pay for the wall, cut the federal funding to other countries around the world including Mexico.

According to InsideGov.com,

The U.S. Government gave a total of $209 million to Mexico in 2012:
The aid was broken down in the following manner:
Economic
  • Child Survival and Health: -$12,200
  • Department of Defense Security Assistance: $39,854
  • Development Assistance: $17.9 million
  • Economic Support Fund/Security Support Assistance: $40.8 million
  • Global Health and Child Survival: $3.89 million
  • Narcotics Control: $27.6 million
  • Nonproliferation, Anti-Terrorism, Demining and Related: $7.07 million
  • Other Active Grant Programs: $15.4 million
  • Other State Assistance: $2.7 million
  • Other USAID Assistance: $2,764
  • Other USDA Assistance: $372,914
  • Peace Corps: $2 million
Military
  • Military Assistance, Total: $91.7 million

This is just the amount of money given to Mexico in a single given year. Why are we giving aid to a foreign country like Mexico to cover things like “grant programs”, “economic support”, “other active grant programs”, and so on.  Some of the items on this list are extremely vague which leads anyone with a little common sense to believe the money may not be going where they say it is.

The point of the matter is, in a single year we GAVE AWAY $209 million dollars to Mexico, money that could in turn be used to fund projects like building a border wall.  Before you liberals go off on the numbers here, I realize that what we gave Mexico in that single given year is essentially a drop in the bucket in regards to the overall estimated cost of the wall, but if we were to cut foreign aid to other countries we have no business giving money to as well as cut money paid to organizations like the UN the possibility definitely exists that we could in a few years fund the entire project.

Lets not forget the Obama stimulus package that cost the taxpayers roughly $700 billion dollars and did nothing to actually stimulate the economy. I for one and much more on board with funding a project that is called for in the Constitution and will inevitably lead to a safer more prosperous nation.

I know some will dispute that it’s still taxpayers funding the wall, which essentially should be the case as it is the federal government's responsibility to secure the border whether some taxpayers like it or not. After all the government has used our money for dozens if not hundreds of pet projects not called for in the Constitution and we were all told to just shut up and sit down.

Bottom line is you want Mexico to pay for the wall cut the foreign aid, apply it to the wall and there you have it! Securing our borders is a Constitutionally granted right of the federal government and we need to see to it that we support Donald Trump in doing so.

Syrians at our Southern Border

Why bother going out of the way to bring the Syrian refugees here?  They're already making their way here via our porous southern border.  We hear Trump go on and on about how lax the security is at our southern border and although I don't always agree with his bombastic attitude he is definitely right on this one.  It's no secret that we basically do not have a border between us and Mexico and Mexico with do nothing to stop illegal immigrants from using their country as a transportation hub to get to America.

According to a recent post on Brietbart,

Two federal agents operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are claiming that eight Syrian illegal aliens attempted to enter Texas from Mexico in the Laredo Sector. The federal agents spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity, however, a local president of the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) confirmed that Laredo Border Patrol agents have been officially contacting the organization with concerns over reports from other federal agents about Syrians illegally entering the country in the Laredo Sector. The reports have caused a stir among the sector’s Border Patrol agents.

The sources claimed that eight Syrians were apprehended on Monday, November 16, 2015. According to the sources, the Syrians were in two separate “family units” and were apprehended at the Juarez Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, also known officially as Port of Entry 1.

Of course they were apprehended in two separate “family units”!  They had to be apprehended in such a manner as to continue to tug on the heartstrings of Americans that individuals crossing our southern border are just women and children looking for a better life.  How dare we even consider restricting not letting this poor huddled masses yearning to be free into our great nation.  This is the card liberals play on conservatives who actually stand for the rule of law and realize the possible threat that unfettered immigration into this country poses to every single American citizen.  Couple that with the threat faced with ISIS and the importance of screening every single individual that enters this country is compounded tenfold.

As if this more recent incident isn’t enough rewind back to September and Brietbart reported on another incident regarding Syrian migrants attempting to cross the southern border.

According to Brietbart back in September,

Officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested 27-year-old Walaa Alrehawi and her brother-in-law 46-year-old Mohammad Ziad Alzalam last week in the border city of Hidalgo.

On Monday, the two went before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos, who read them their rights and ordered they be held without bond pending a detention hearing later this week.
Court records obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed that Ziad travelled to Beirut, Lebanon, to pick up Alrehawi who has been identified as his sister-in-law. She allegedly used the passport belonging to Ziad’s wife to fly to Frankfurt, Germany. From there, the two flew to the Mexican resort town of Cancun. The duo eventually made their way to the Mexican city of Reynosa and subsequently tried to enter the United States through Hidalgo.

In this incident we see two individuals who attempt to use fake passports to gain entrance into the United States.  This is the same type of scenario that played out in Paris when the islamists, one of which was tied to the Syrian refugee population, who allegedly arrived in France using a fake passport.

I know many are running around crying about how ignorant it is for us to turn away anyone who may want to come here.  There are a few things that one must take into consideration though before rushing to such judgement.  Given the aforementioned events that have unfolded not only in Paris but with regards to Syrians attempting to enter the United States illegally, it is essential we remain skeptical.  Additionally, our vetting process is under great scrutiny from all levels of government including the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies. Lastly, do we really have the resources at this point to take care of upwards of 80,000 more people in this country?  We cannot even take care of our veterans and we want to import more people who will inevitably be a burden to the already overloaded welfare system.

Mexican Chopper Fires on Border Patrol While Sgt. Tahmooressi Rots

As I'm sure you are aware at this point, there was an incident on our southern border with Mexico today.  This incident trumps any of the recent incidents that have been occurring for weeks now where we have been continuously invaded by "young illegal immigrant children".  That's an entirely different story for another time.  What happened today amounts to an act of war and one that demands some sort of retaliation or at least a statement from the commander in chief.  Today our own border patrol agents were fired upon by a Mexican military chopper that crossed into United States air space.

This is by all means an act of war!  When a foreign country enters our own air space and fires on our own military personnel that is considered an act of aggression and demands a response of one form or another. And from multiple accounts this isn't the first time this has occurred as agents and even platoons of Mexican military officials have crossed our border and fired upon our border agents. Each and every time this has occurred we have simply released these individuals with their equipment and weapons and sent them on their merry way back across the border.

Let me ask you, what would happen if one of or a group of our military personnel happened to cross into Mexican territory and fire upon a Mexican military officer?  Oh wait, one of our soldiers did accidentally cross into Mexican territory, and without even firing a shot he was captured and taken into custody.  It has now been nearly three months that he has been held captive in a maximum security prison deep inside Mexico with no sign of him being released any time soon.

The time has come that our president and government grow a set of balls and stand up against not only the influx of illegal immigrants crossing our border but the literal invasion and firing upon our own border patrol agents. Has this country become so soft that we will not stand up against the Mexican government when our own men and women are fired upon? We need to demand that our Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi be released immediately and the next time a Mexican official so much as sets foot across that border without authorization he be detained indefinitely in Guantanamo Bay as an enemy combatant.

The Islamic Caliphate Is Coming

What exactly is the Islamic Caliphate? And is this Islamic Caliphate an impending threat to the United States?

Fist off we must understand what exactly a caliphate is. According to Wikipedia a caliphate is, "A caliphate (from the Arabic: خلافة‎ khilāfa, meaning "succession") is an Islamic state led by a supreme religious and political leader known as a caliph – i.e. "successor" – to Muhammad and the other prophets of Islam. So we can come to the conclusion that a caliphate has to do with the Muslim religion.  The idea of a caliphate actually dates back to as early as A.D. 632.  The only real aspect of the Muslim Caliphate that we need to truly be concerned with is the one currently being carried out by the radical Muslims of the group known as Al Qaeda.

The group known as Al Qaeda has a clearly stated goal and that is to re-institute the Muslim Caliphate.  In 2005 this group explained that they were going to move forward with "phase five" which is to move forward with implementing the Islamic state. It is believed that if this caliphate is established that Egypt would be a rallying point in leading their jihad against the west including the Jewish State and the United States.

Now that we understand what a caliphate is and what the intentions are of Al Qaeda, one might wonder how exactly they intend on doing this.  With the current state of affairs throughout the middle east it is becoming quite clear as events are beginning to unfold leading to the destruction of Iraq. As Al Qaeda funded groups make there way towards Baghdad, the fall of Iraq back into radical Muslim hands is becoming a harsh reality.

This would be a huge step into pushing forward with their Muslim Caliphate. But the truly scary aspect of this scenario is the actions of our president here at home.  Just recently he released five high level terrorists back into the middle east.  Not more than a few weeks after their return we are seeing major unrest throughout countries he claimed we left with resources for them to defend themselves.  Those same resources such as tanks, Humvee's, and even fighter jets are now at risk of falling into the hands of the terrorists.

Not only do we have to deal with the unrest a half a world away, we have major unrest at our own southern border.  We have recently seen an influx of illegal immigrant children into the states of Texas and California. This has put a huge strain on our border patrol officers and greatly inhibited their ability to actually patrol the border.  What is even more disturbing about this is the fact that the border is now more open than it has ever been which leaves the door wide open to terrorists should they decide to enter the country.
