Mexico Will Pay for Trump's Wall

So we are roughly a week into the Trump presidency and he has been moving at lightning speed setting out to accomplish everything he has promised during his presidential campaign.  One of the projects that made up the foundation of his campaign was securing the border which became an issue due to the immigration crisis we are currently experiencing in this country as hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants stream across our southern border.  We have heard from politicians for decades about stemming this flow and up until now they have been all talk.

Notice I said up until now!  Finally it appears we have a president sitting at the desk in the oval office who is actually putting actions behind his words.  This is a starch contrast to what we have witnessed for quite some time now, especially during the Obama administration as he failed to follow through on almost all of his campaign promises.  Remember “hope and change”?  I rest my case.

Nonetheless Trump is determined we need to secure our border and he sees a wall as the solution to the problem. While there may be some debate on this aspect of securing the border, one thing is for sure, Trump has said time and time again that Mexico would pay for the wall.  

While this has been a hotly contested topic of discussion there is one thing people are forgetting to realize.  Whether or not you agree with the building of the wall, it is part of our government's constitutional duty to secure our borders. I know that may sound harsh and to some snowflakes out there they may need to retreat to their safe spaces at the thought of the United States securing its borders but there is no disputing it.

The United States Constitution specifically states,

Article 4, Section 4

The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

It seems quite clear the federal government hasn’t been standing up to their end of the Constitution. The citizens of each state are still required to continue funding the federal government though regardless of the fact that numerous states around the country are literally being overrun with illegal aliens.  The fact that this is occurring is also a large reason why Donald Trump was elected president in the first place. We the people saw in him someone who would buck the trend of the typical go along to get along politicians in DC.  We saw in him someone who would once and for all secure our border and restore sovereignty to this country.

Moving forward to the next issue regarding The Wall, the big beautiful, YUUGGEEE WALL!  How do we pay for it? There has been argument after argument as to how we would pay for what is estimated by some to be a $15 to $20 billion dollar project.  Well I have one possible theory as to how we pay for the wall, cut the federal funding to other countries around the world including Mexico.

Economic

• Child Survival and Health: -$12,200
• Department of Defense Security Assistance: $39,854
• Development Assistance: $17.9 million
• Economic Support Fund/Security Support Assistance: $40.8 million
• Global Health and Child Survival: $3.89 million
• Narcotics Control: $27.6 million
• Nonproliferation, Anti-Terrorism, Demining and Related: $7.07 million
• Other Active Grant Programs: $15.4 million
• Other State Assistance: $2.7 million
• Other USAID Assistance: $2,764
• Other USDA Assistance: $372,914
• Peace Corps: $2 million

Military

• Military Assistance, Total: $91.7 million

This is just the amount of money given to Mexico in a single given year. Why are we giving aid to a foreign country like Mexico to cover things like “grant programs”, “economic support”, “other active grant programs”, and so on.  Some of the items on this list are extremely vague which leads anyone with a little common sense to believe the money may not be going where they say it is.

The point of the matter is, in a single year we GAVE AWAY $209 million dollars to Mexico, money that could in turn be used to fund projects like building a border wall.  Before you liberals go off on the numbers here, I realize that what we gave Mexico in that single given year is essentially a drop in the bucket in regards to the overall estimated cost of the wall, but if we were to cut foreign aid to other countries we have no business giving money to as well as cut money paid to organizations like the UN the possibility definitely exists that we could in a few years fund the entire project.

Lets not forget the Obama stimulus package that cost the taxpayers roughly $700 billion dollars and did nothing to actually stimulate the economy. I for one and much more on board with funding a project that is called for in the Constitution and will inevitably lead to a safer more prosperous nation.

I know some will dispute that it’s still taxpayers funding the wall, which essentially should be the case as it is the federal government's responsibility to secure the border whether some taxpayers like it or not. After all the government has used our money for dozens if not hundreds of pet projects not called for in the Constitution and we were all told to just shut up and sit down.

Bottom line is you want Mexico to pay for the wall cut the foreign aid, apply it to the wall and there you have it! Securing our borders is a Constitutionally granted right of the federal government and we need to see to it that we support Donald Trump in doing so.

Stop the $221 Million Payment to the Palestinians

In yet another attempt to undermine the incoming Trump administration former president Obama released $221 million in tax payer money to the Palestinians.  You may ask why he did this? I think it's quite simple, Obama has an utter disregard and disrespect for Israel and their people. Roughly a few weeks ago Obama reversed a long standing tradition of the US Federal Government to veto anti-Israel UN resolutions. 

According to Brietbart, 

Some Senate Democrats have issued scathing statements against President Barack Obama and his administration’s decision to break with longstanding tradition to veto anti-Israel resolutions, choosing, instead, to abstain from voting in a United Nations Security Council vote. The vote called for a halt to Israeli construction in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem.

Even Senate Democrats weren't in alignment with Obama and the actions he took to throw another dagger at Israel. Israel, the only true democratic country in the entire middle east and one of our biggest allies.

Fast forward to Trump's inauguration day and this time Obama uses the Israeli Palestinian conflict to undermine the incoming president by literally giving $221 million dollars in tax payer money to the Palestinian state! You read that right $221 million dollars of tax payer funds are going to the terrorist state of Palestine! You may wonder where I got off saying tax payer funds, well considering the government itself doesn't actually produce anything and as a result they do not have an income, any money they spend is essentially our money!

According to The Times of Israel,

The State Department is reviewing a last-minute decision by former Secretary of State John Kerry to send $221 million dollars to the Palestinians late last week over the objections of congressional Republicans.

The department said Tuesday it would look at the payment and might make adjustments to ensure it comports with the Trump administration’s priorities.

Kerry formally notified Congress that State would release the money Friday morning, just hours before President Donald Trump took the oath of office.

There you have it! Obama's last move as President of the United States and he attempts to stick it to Israel one last time.

The Times of Israel goes on to explain,

Congress had initially approved the Palestinian funding in budget years 2015 and 2016, but at least two GOP lawmakers — Ed Royce of California, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and Kay Granger of Texas, who sits on the House Appropriations Committee — had placed holds on it over moves the Palestinian Authority had taken to seek membership in international organizations. Congressional holds are generally respected by the executive branch but are not legally binding after funds have been allocated.

At least a few members of Congress are privy to this issue Obama created and are taking the necessary steps to see to it the Palestinians NEVER see these funds. Additionally, we know Trump will support this move as well as he is an outspoken supporter of Israel and the Jewish State.

Trump is Draining the Swamp!

Turns out Donald Trump is looking to follow through with his promise to drain the swamp and he's going to start right where he should, he's going to get rid of excess government fat.  In other words he is going to get rid of the people employed by government who are doing nothing more than occupying space and wasting oxygen. There are countless government agencies that literally mean nothing to the overall well being of the American people nor are they called for in the Constitution.

This gets me to my main underlying point in many of the articles I write, and that is getting back to a federal government as intended by the Constitution.  A smaller government whose main focus should be the overall protection of the American people from enemies foreign and domestic, and if you ask me after 8 years of Obama there are plenty of enemies out there looking to do Americans harm.  Obama has weakened our military to levels we haven't seen since before WWII, luckily we have Trump coming into office and not only should he drain the swamp it also appears he intends to bring us back to the country we once were; a country that other nations respected and our enemies feared.

According to the Washington Examiner,

Making good on a promise to slash government, President-elect Trump has asked his incoming team to pursue spending and staffing cuts.

Insiders said that the spending reductions in some departments could go as high as 10 percent and staff cuts to 20 percent, numbers that would rock Washington if he follows through.

The spending reductions are expected to be used to help pay for Trump's plan to boost the Pentagon's budget, tax cuts and some pet projects, potentially including the anti-immigration wall on the nation's southern border.

The teams also are looking at staffing cuts over four years through attrition, a hiring freeze and reorganization.

I know what you’re thinking… Oh no people are going to lose their jobs.  What so ever will those people do when they are out of work.  Well you know what?  You have no reason to feel for these people if you think about the hardships they have put other Americans through when they were doing their jobs.  These individuals that were nothing more than wasted space employed in agencies that overtaxed, overburdened, and over regulated small businesses into non-existence. They didn't feel for the lives they were ruining or the families they destroyed as many could no longer afford to put food on the table.  

This… people… is the change we need!  This here is draining the swamp and Trump fulfilling his promise to Make America Great Again.  I have said this all along and I stick to it that we must stand by and hold his feet to the fire if he doesn’t follow through with promises like this but as of yet we really have no reason not to believe he is a man of his word and he intends to bring America back to what it once was before progressives like Obama.  Before progressives like Obama forced their socialist ideologies on us in their sad attempt to bring America down to the level of other third world countries they idolize so much.

Proud to Be An American!!!

Hello everyone!!!

I know it's been a while since I last posted here on the Young Conservative blog and a lot has changed in the last few months since my last post! I'm sure you were all wrapped up in the election just as I was in the hopes that we could somehow save our country from what appeared to be imminent disaster had crooked Hillary Clinton been elected. Sure enough the true American spirit prevailed and we came out on top as we were able to ensure the next president of the United States would indeed be Donald J. Trump!

I can't help but touch on what has to be the best part of this past election season, the literal implosion of the millennials as they simply could not take it that their chosen one hadn't been elected. They cried, called out of work, and some actresses and big name celebrities actually stayed in bed for days. We witnessed the "protests" while the morons cried "not my president" and subsequently proceeded to call out the electoral college as racist. We heard cries about how we are a democracy and Trump never won because he didn't get win the popular vote. Little did the snowflakes realize, we are actually a Constitutional Republic and the forefathers designed our government to protect against the highly populated areas of the northeast and California from electing the President.

The silent majority has been awakened and we the people are finally standing up to be heard. We are tired of being lectured by the likes of the Hollywood elite telling us how we are to live our lives while they NEVER practice what they preach.  They are no better than the socialist minded Democrats governing from on high while relegating we the little people to things like Obamacare, the public education system, and the rest of the government funded programs the people are "given" at the expense of the middle class. Turns out we are tired of paying for other people's free shit and THAT is a large part of the reason Trump will be the next President of The United States!!

We are approaching a new time in American history, a time where will see a revitalization of the American economy, a time in which our veterans will finally take precedence over the illegal alien, a time in which Americans will no longer be mocked for "clinging to their guns" and religion. I have always been proud to be an American and always will be, we will once again have a President that feels the same way!!

It's Time For the People to Be Heard!

The time has come for the masses to stand up and be heard.  We have been pushed and prodded for too damn long and many are finally saying enough is enough and beginning to sound the alarm that real change is needed to save this country from destruction.  For far too long the mindless morons on the left have brainwashed many into believing that the federal government has their best interests at heart, and the morons fall in line looking for their next handout.  Under Obama we have seen an exponential increase not only in the number of welfare recipients, we have seen an increase in the number of food stamp recipients, and increases in just about every other one of the 80 or so means tested welfare programs offered by the government.  

One may wonder how it is that this is possible.  How is it that the federal government has the ability to operate so many welfare programs?  Well they still have a base of hard working Americans to steal from to ensure the flat ass society can remain on their flat ass feeding off of the labor of the hard working American citizen. Don't get me wrong there exists a small number of individuals who legitimately need this assistance, but the vast majority are perfectly capable of working. 

It's safe to say that those working to fund the flat ass society are finally getting fed up with the way in which this country is going.  This sentiment has also made it's way across the pond as England has recently asserted their independence from the European Union.  The "other people" that reside outside the big cities made their voices heard as they decided they no longer wanted to partake in the restrictions, taxes, and influx of middle east refugees being forced upon them by the EU.  It's ironic that the pathetic mainstream media in England all but assured the world that they would without a doubt remain in the EU, but like I said the "other people" stood up and made their voices heard that they are done being pushed around by the elite oligarchs governing from their ivory towers. 

We are seeing the same thing take place here in the United States with the rise of Donald Trump.  Whether or not you like the guy you have to admit he has the balls to say what most are thinking.  Like in Europe many here in the US are fed up with the way the federal government is issuing decrees that the masses must abide by while they live the life of luxury.  The politicians in DC force upon us "healthcare reform" yet they have nothing to do with Obamacare, they push on the masses a failing federal educational system that is doing nothing but indoctrinate our children to become good little peons that will buy into everything government is selling them while sending their own children to the most elite of elite private school.  

Finally people have had enough of this bullshit and are beginning to demand that politicians be held accountable.  We saw the rise of the tea party some 6 or so years ago which ignited the spark and with the lack of change we have seen from so called conservative Republicans, the people are crying out for real change, change back to a government by the people and for the people as the founders intended.

The Animals are on the Loose at Trump Rallies in the Southwest

The protesting at Trump rallies has officially gone too far. I don’t know about you but I am sick and tired of seeing these pathetic pukes run around waving the damn Mexican flag in our country.  This really hits home with me because I’m tired of people coming here from other countries only to tell us how great their home country is.  If your home country is so damn great then why the hell did you come here in the first place.  There used to be something called assimilation in which people wanted to come to America to embrace American values and what America once stood for.  

I don’t necessarily consider myself a Trump supporter but I do believe in his motto that we need to make America great.  I wouldn’t necessarily say great again as I believe America has always been and still is great, we just need to get back to the founding principles this country once stood strongly for.

The problem we are seeing with these so called protests that are taking place wherever Trump goes is the fact that police are giving these ANIMALS, yes I said it, ANIMALS room to riot.  Just like we all witnessed in Baltimore, we are seeing the same riot type mentality take place at all of these protests.  Police stand idly by as these maniacs break through barricades, stomp on police cars, and basically do as they please with hardly any pushback from law enforcement.  

According to the Los Angeles Times,

"You can't arrest all of us," one woman shouted. Another group of anti-Trump demonstrators continued to linger, yelling, "Mexico! Mexico!"

Around the Anaheim Convention Center, lines of mounted police moved through the streets, with several dozen protesters in front of them. Some had scarves covering their face, others taunted police officers. By 3 p.m., only a couple dozen protesters remained, with one person tearing down a stop sign near Katella Avenue.

Actually they can arrest most of you and what they should be doing is sending back to Mexico whomever is here illegally.  That would be one extremely efficient way in which these protest could be stopped.  Put the fear of God in these illegals immigrant thugs and let them know they are breaking our laws and they will be sent right back where they came from. But we all know that will never happen as they represent the next largest voting block for the Democrat party.  The Democrats look to them as the next recipient class they can dangle their free crap in front of and in turn have Democrat voters for the next two generations.

The Anger and Frustration of the Conservative Movement

I get it, I really do get it! The anger and outrage we are seeing by so many on the “right” seems to be coming to a tipping point and that tipping point has resulted in the phenomenon that is Donald Trump. In addition to the massive backing the Donald has been receiving we have seen Republicans and Conservatives alike become increasingly frustrated with the way many aspects of the federal government are run. Over the course of the past 6 or so years we have elected more and more Conservative thinking politicians into office with the hope that by doing so we can stem the tide of progressive filth being fed to us from Obama and the left. One of those pieces of progressive filth has been Obamacare.

According to Huffington Post,

In August 2009, the debate over the proposed Affordable Care Act made its way into town hall meetings across the country. Democrats hoped to use the forums to explain the complexities of health care reform and dispel any myths. They came with long-winded answers and PowerPoint slides.

Tea party conservatives had another plan: They saw these earnest settings as opportunities for rage. The gatherings quickly devolved into shouting matches and even physical altercations. Democrats were accused of torching the Constitution and handing people with disabilities a death sentence.

“It was a lot of vitriolic racism,” recalled former Rep. Tom Perriello (D-Va.), who was then a freshman Democrat from a conservative-leaning district.

“I was getting spit on. My staff was getting kicked,” he said. “We were getting calls using the N word every day. People were very comfortable in very professional settings saying, ‘You know there is nothing for white people in this bill. Why are you supporting it?’”

It's funny how the likes of Huffington Post paint Conservatives with a broad brush as racists and hate mongers like they've done here, yet they truly fail to address the reason why the people are so upset. I by no means condone the behavior of these individuals and don't think they represent the true Conservatives but it's easy to see why they are so mad. Like I said we have been voting election after election for individuals who we believe will uphold the Constitution and get government out of places where it has no business being such as our health care.

This type of thinking would help to eliminate much of the discord we see today in government on both a federal and local level. If the average American citizen actually read and understood the Constitution they would realize that the federal government isn’t the be all end all and that we do have a 10th amendment that would place things like health care under local government control where it belongs. Even then government should remain out of such things as much as possible as the free market is the best alternative to the Obamacare debacle.

Regardless of what side of the isle you are on it is imperative that we all control ourselves regardless of the circumstances surrounding our government run amok. The more aggressive we become the more aggressive government becomes and right now that is not a road we want to head down. In the meantime we need to read the Constitution and other historical documents, do our homework, and elect individuals who will abide by the Constitution and truly stand up for the rule of law!

New York Times Needs to Release Trump Audio

Since Donald Trump announced his run for president on June 16th of 2015 we have all witnessed his meteoric rise to political stardom as from the start he has been saying everything the American people want to hear. From bringing jobs back to the United States from overseas to addressing the illegal immigration issue, Trump seems to have the answers to all of the problems plaguing our country. There's only one problem, what experience does this individual have that truly makes him a viable candidate to become leader of the free world.

I agree it can be easy to get caught up in much of Trump’s rhetoric as he plays on the emotions of the American people much like what many liberal Democrats do and it is essential we all look past the emotional aspect of what he speaks about and get at the heart of what it is he stands for. We must vet Trump like we would any other candidate vying for the office of the president and be sure we hold him accountable. As is the case we must look into any and all allegations regarding his stance on things like immigration, a topic he speaks very strongly about.

The New York Times is sitting on an audio recording that some of its staff believes could deal a serious blow to Donald Trump, who, in an off-the-record meeting with the newspaper, called into question whether he would stand by his own immigration views.

I get it that the source in question here is indeed the liberals beloved New York Times but nonetheless the Donald did an interview with them and I don’t necessarily think they would just make up the possibility that they have in their possession a recording like this.  The question then becomes do that have the balls to release this recording.  Just recently there reports surfaced that Trump intends to consider lobbying to have libel laws changed in this country as much of the reporting on him lately hasn’t been what one would call positive.  This would be the ultimate test as of late, a test that would really shed some light on Trump’s true colors with regards to how he would address a media outlet that would be willing to release some truly damaging audio against him.

Trump appeared on Hannity last night to address the concerns brought about by the New York Times and yet again we are met with his typical vagueness. Trump never really seems to get at the heart of the issues, he constantly speaks in platitudes explaining that we’re just going to get it done.  Never does he say how we are going to get it done, what the ramifications would be to the American people to fund said projects, and what the exact long term goals of the project include.

According to Politico,

“The New York Times is claiming today that they had an off-the-record conversation with you in January,” Hannity started.

“We had a board meeting, it was off-the-record, suddenly they leak it, it’s all over the place,” Trump said.

“They said it’s negotiable on the wall,” Hannity said in reference to Trump’s stance on Mexican immigration and his oft-stated promise to build a border wall.

“By the way it is negotiable. Things are negotiable,” Trump said. “I’ll make the wall 2 feet shorter or something.”

Trump was quick to add that the negotiation does not include nixing the idea altogether.

“Building it? Not negotiable.”

“Would it be negotiable about the 11 million?” Hannity pressed. “Maybe let some people stay if they register in a period of time?”

“I would say this,” Trump answered. “We will work out some system that’s fair, but we either have a country or we don’t. We need a border. We need a wall.”

So Trump is upset with the sudden leak from the New York Times, well Mr. Trump welcome to politics.  You want to run for President this is what you’re faced with and you simply cannot run around here crying about how you want to change libel laws because you don’t like the news coverage about you. And Trump finishes his time with Hannity like he does most of his speeches, concentrating on one of the issues that is near and dear to the American people, building the border wall.  I truly hope that if elected he is able to do what he is promising. I guess we’ll find out.

Do We Really Want Trump?

I haven’t really talked too much about the presidential debates or the candidates running for the nominations on either side as I try and concentrate on the here and now and reach out to the millennial generation to get them to understand the ramifications of what is taking place right before our very eyes.  But one cannot help but get caught up in the hoopla surrounding those vying for the presidential nomination on both sides of the aisle.

On the Republican side we have Trump who is a rabble rouser and is stirring things up speaking on issues we all want addressed, we have Ted Cruz who is the true Conservative of the bunch and has tried numerous cases before the Supreme Court and attended both Princeton and Harvard Law school, and Marco Rubio who many aren't quite sure what he stands for as he has had differing opinions on issues like immigration.

I have also spoke about Bernie Sanders quite a bit because I feel that many in the millennial generation are beginning to buy into his ridiculous ideals that would lead us down the road to a socialistic society turning this country into something that would be unrecognizable within just a few years. With promises like free college for all and free healthcare the millennial generation is buying into his socialist style promises not realizing that eventually the rich who Sanders wants to foot the bill will eventually run out of money!

What I haven’t delved into much is the whole Trump debate and whether or not he would make a good president.

While it's looking like Hillary Clinton is a lock for the Democrat nod for president, the Republican nomination is still up for grabs. We are now faced with the decision of whether or not we want to Trump who is looking more like a tyrant or Cruz who is an accomplished Conservative minded individual to represent us as our parties pick for president come 2016.

This divisiveness within the Republican party that is becoming more prevalent today is a direct result of the inaction of many of the Republicans we have elected into both the House and the Senate! We have seen much infighting within the Republican party over the last decade or so between the establishment and the tea party, the tea party that has really gained momentum over the past few years.  As more and more people are beginning to finally wake up to what's going on, we are witnessing a quick rise in conservative minded individuals who are taking more of an interest in the Constitution.  The rise in the tea party and the witnessing of the rapid decline of the state of this country led me to gain more of an interest in the Constitution and motivated me to try and become more involved and do what I can to affect change.  I have been motivated to get the word out and speak to truth the constitutional principles this country was founded upon, that being life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

This further exemplifies the importance of the upcoming election where we are faced with a decision that could not only affect the upcoming 4 to 8 years but could have lasting ramifications that may be felt for generations! We are seeing Trump gain in popularity as he is playing off of the anger and emotions of the American people. As I previously explained, the American people are fed up with the inaction of many of our representatives in both the House and the Senate and this has led to the blind following that Trump is receiving! A following that eerily resembles what we witnessed with Obama in 2008 and we all know how that turned out!

As time has gone by we have seen many of the conservatives become angry at the direction in which this country is headed.  We have seen anger on social media, in the news, at protests, and each step along the way we have seen the radical left sit there at push the narrative about the “right wing nuts” as they like to refer to many of us as.  And then along comes an individual who truly said what we all conservatives wanted to hear.  This individual spoke about building a wall along our border with Mexico that we have wanted since the Reagan administration, this individual played on the fear and trepidation against muslims after various terror attacks, this person leverage any and every news incident of the day to his advantage to play on the heartstrings of the american people to get them riled up and motivated to affect change.  

While this all sounds dandy, but one must take a step back and truly ask themselves is the decision I'm making to back whoever it is one decides to back for the presidential bid a rational one. Am I acting based on emotion, or am I acting based I  sound reasoning and logic? Am I acting based upon my anger and frustration over the state of this country which is a direct result of the wussy Republicans in Congress who refuse to stand up for what it is we elected them to do? Please ask yourself these questions and do your due diligence before you make your decision as the ramifications of the decision you make could be felt for a long time to come!
