Appeals Court Hears Challenges on Obama's Unconstitutional Immigration Policy

I would love for one person to make a valid argument with regards to where Obama gets the authority to arbitrarily determine who is granted citizenship and who is not.  

According to Article 1, Section 8, Claus 4 of the United States Constitution, 

"The Congress shall have the power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization."

As one can clearly see, although the President can't seem to see this, the power of naturalization and in effect the subsequent dealings with immigration and naturalization as a whole lies in Congress, not in the hands of the President.  Bottom line is the actions by this president to take it upon himself to move forward with immigration policy without first consulting Congress is unconstitutional and an impeachable offense. 

 Don't be fooled by this President's excuse that he must act because Congress won't.  It doesn't matter whether or not Congress is acting or coming to a resolution on something the President decides is important.  He simply does not have the power to take over the powers of Congress.

Today we are seeing the 5th circuit court of appeals take up arguments over the validity of Obama's proposed immigration reform.  The mere fact that it has come to this is absolutely ridiculous! The government is wasting tax payer’s money debating whether or not Obama can deliberately act outside the confines of the Constitution. 

According to ABC News, 

A coalition of 26 states, led by Texas sued to block the plan. The hearing was on an appeal of a Texas judge's injunction.

The Justice Department argued that Texas has no legal standing in the matter. Texas' solicitor general countered that granting legal status to immigrants will be costly for Texas.

The judges did not rule and took the case under advisement.

It is quite clear that more than half of the states are extremely concerned with the possible effects of this proposed immigration reform.  If the immigration reform were to go through it would have a hug effect on the states as the federal government plans on putting the burden of taking care of the illegals solely on the states.  

The states will have to deal with providing schooling for the millions of new illegal alien students, the states will have to deal with health concerns brought here by individuals from third world countries, and the states will have to deal with issuing these illegal aliens credentials that should only be provided to United States citizens.

ABC News then goes on to explain,

Benjamin Mizer, the Justice Department's principal deputy assistant attorney general, called Texas' suit unprecedented and argued that immigration policy is a domain of the federal government.

The whole reason the Texas suit is "unprecedented" is because the actions of this President are also unprecedented.  Never before has a president taken it upon himself to rule on immigration policy.  And don't talk to me about Reagan, the immigration bill that he signed into law back in 1986 was drafted and passed by Congress.  Therefore the immigration reform was Constitutional. 

Yes immigration reform is a domain of the federal government as stated by Benjamin Mizer, it's just not a domain of the office of the President.

Obama Gives Illegals a Complaint Hotline

Going back to the 1980's illegal immigration has been a hotly contested issue in this country. We saw Reagan give amnesty to a large number of illegals back in 1986, and in return he and the Republicans were promised increased border security.

As you can plainly see the amnesty order went through but the border was never secured. Since then we have had to deal with an ever increasing number of illegals that have been literally pouring over the border for nearly 30 years.

It's safe to say we are coming to the tipping point with regards to illegal immigration and the very survival of this country. We now have a president who is worse than any president in America history with regards to securing the border and dealing with the illegal immigration crisis.

According to the Washington Times, 

The Homeland Security Department has set up hotlines for illegal immigrants who believe their rights under President Obama’s amnesty policy have been violated.

Not only is this president neglecting to deal with the illegal immigration crisis, he is actively seeking to undermine the job our border agents are doing by setting up a damn complaint hotline. 

The Washington Times continues, 

In a memo announcing the customer complaint line, U.S. Customs and Border Protection asked illegal immigrants to “please tell us about your experience” if they believe they were treated “contrary to the new DHS enforcement priorities.”

The Obama administration has effectively given people who have broken our laws the means to file grievance with those who are are supposed to be upholding the law. How can we have a country anymore when things are this backwards. 

It's safe to say we are on the road to becoming a land without borders. This will be the beginning of the end of the United States as we know it. We are simply becoming people occupying a particular land rather than citizens of a nation as citizenship no longer means anything.

Mr Obama Amnesty Does Not Compare to Christmas

The story of Christmas that we Christians have celebrated for thousands of years has now become a political football as this pathetic president has compared the Christmas season to executive amnesty!

According to Obama, 

“If we’re serious about the Christmas season, now is the time to reflect on those who are strangers in our midst and remember what it was like to be a stranger,” Obama said during an immigration town hall in Nashville.

Being serious about Christmas has nothing to do with accepting those who are in our midst by breaking our laws and coming here illegally! It's sad and pathetic that our president would stoop as low as to take a holiday like Christmas which happens to be one of the most important Christian holidays and use it to promote one of his own illegal, unconstitutional actions! 

Obama then went on to explain, 

“As I said the day that I announced these executive actions that we were once strangers too, and part of what my faith teaches me is to look upon the stranger as part of myself,” he said. “And during this Christmas season that’s a good place to start.

This quote by our glorious leader really takes the cake as he has the nerve to claim that he is Christian when we all know of that he is a closet Muslim as he constantly caters to the Muslim culture by NEVER condemning any of the heinous acts carried out by Muslims on the Christians and Jews around the world! 

One can always look at themselves as a so called "stranger".  That is still no excuse to break a countries laws and then petition that country to accept the fact that the laws have been broken. Breaking laws requires consequences and failing to ensure the consequences are instilled in the law breaker sets a bad precedent. 

Additionally,  when a president takes it upon himself to arbitrarily abide by and enforce laws it again sets a bad precedent that will inevitably backfire on not only his own party when a Republican takes office but on the country as a whole as the president is supposed to be the leader setting the example for the rest of the nation!

Treat Illegal Aliens Like Tax Cheats

Providing amnesty to 5 million low skilled, uneducated migrants is going to do absolutely nothing for this country or the citizenry!!

All it is going to is reduce the opportunities for Americans be increasing the number of individuals already competing for the scarce number of available jobs. In addition to that it will inevitably overwhelm the welfare state, the educational system, and healthcare system.

But what are we going to do??? We can't just round them up and send them back even though Roosevelt had absolutely no problem rounding up American citizens simply for being of Japanese desent. An American president rounded up actual American citizens and placed them in concentration camps yet we can't just locate those who are here illegally and send them back to their country of origin!

Suppose 5 million citizens opted not to pay their taxes?? Do you think the govt would simply say ahh that's too many people we can't go after 5 million citizens who didn't pay their taxes...

Wrong, they'd be rounding citizens up fast enough to make your head spin and throwing them in jail. So it's about time we take that same approach to immigration. Send back those who are here illegally, streamline the LEGAL immigration process, and in the mean time patrol the damn border to keep Americans safe!

The Tea Party is Alive and Well

It's utterly pathetic to see just how low the left is willing to stoop to ensure their continued reign over our lives and our pocketbooks.  With the ouster of Eric Cantor, John Boehnor's right hand man, we are beginning to see the revival of conservative principals one of which was Dave Brat's stance on amnesty.  Another contributing factor in his victory was his ability to speak to the people and make them understand the importance of a sound view of economics and ethics.

This amnesty issue is one that has been tossed around for quite some time now as each side of the isle fights on just how to address the issue.  Lately as more and more RINO's (republicans in name only) are making there way into the GOP it was looking like amnesty was going to become a reality.  With the defeat of Eric Cantor amnesty has been dealt a HUGE blow!!






The establishment has been served a big reality check.  Yesterday a no name, Dave Brat, took down one of the highest ranking individuals within the Republican party in the house Eric Cantor. This was considered a stunning upset as Cantor, a long time congressional incumbent, was considered a shoe-in by many as his analysts had him up in the polls by 34 points as late as Monday.

What made this victory even sweeter for Tea Partiers everywhere, especially Dave Brat, is the fact that he spent as much on his entire campaign, roughly $120,000, as Eric Cantor spent one night at a steakhouse during his own campaign.  He was far outspent overall as Cantor's campaign budget topped five million dollars.

While the fight is far from over this is an epic start as we see that people are becoming fed up with the establishment of both parties as it is becoming  quite clear they do not have the best interests of the American people in mind.  They spend money, print more money, and spend some more.  They rob future generations of wealth while taxing the rich to give to the flat ass society they are creating.  We now have hope that people are beginning to seek truth when electing politicians, and that they want politicians with a respect for the rule of law and an understanding of economics and ethics.

Amnesty for Illegals, The Downfall of The United States As We Know It

From the time this country was founded immigrants have served as the backbone of this great nation.  We are a country founded on the hard work and determination of those immigrants and have since evolved into the greatest country on the face of the planet.  "Yes I said the greatest country on the face of the planet even though many "elite progressives" like to think otherwise." As the country grew there came a point in time where limits had to be placed on immigration and as a result places like Ellis Island were constructed to ensure this country was taking in only those individuals who could contribute to society.

Fast forward some two hundred years and we find ourselves in a situation starkly different than the one our forefathers faced.  This situation is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and the fact that those in power today are using the idea of immigration as a political football to ensure their reelection and continued control over the political system in this country.  You may ask how exactly are they turning immigration into a political football?? One word AMNESTY!!!

The democrats have become the party of the handout and "free stuff".  This is precisely why they are so in favor of amnesty.  If this amnesty bill does indeed pass the roughly 30 million illegal immigrants will fall directly into they hands of the welfare system.  Once this occurs the democrats will play off of this and continue to offer more and more free stuff at the cost of the tax payer.  Increasing the "free stuff" class in this country will lead to higher taxes for those of us in the real working class and in turn continue the demise of our economy.

The enormous illegal immigration problem in this country is much larger than politicians and the lame stream media would lead you to believe. They constantly throw around differing numbers in regards to how many illegals are living here, there current favorite number happens to be 11 million. That number may have been the case some 5 years ago, but according to recent statistics from the Center for Immigration Studies, "If immigration continues at current levels, the nation's population will increase from 301 million today to 468 million in 2060, an increase of roughly 167 million people or 56%. 

Take into account the family and friends that would also arrive here as a result of the proposed amnesty bill and you have nearly 60 million additional American citizens. We currently have an unemployment rate of around 7% with nearly 90 million AMERICANS currently out of the workforce and we want to add another 60 million people??? Where is the logic???

Another issue many progressives have trouble coming to grips with is the idea that giving amnesty to illegals will in turn become a burden on the social welfare systems already in place in this country.  When these people become citizens they automatically become eligible for Obamacare and many other social welfare programs. 

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, "Amnesty for illegal immigrants will cause costs to increase significantly from $10.4 billion a year to $28.8 billion. This is because an amnesty program would transform an illegal immigrant to an "unskilled immigrant with legal status" who could access various government programs. However, due to low income, these "unskilled immigrants with legal status" would likely make very modest tax payments."

Lets face it, amnesty for illegals won't only be a burden on the welfare systems in this country, it will bring down society as a whole as it continuously erodes American values, it will expand the welfare state as these individuals will continue to vote for "free stuff" like we have seen over the last 6 years, and it will be a burden on the already fragile economy.
